Hi, I am a 43 years young lady. I watched your video and decided to change my PCX 150 rare tire myself. I was actually able to change the tire successfully and in most part I did the job all by myself. It wasn't easy but I finished it. Change the filter and oil as well the same time. You video was great and super helpful. Thank you for sharing it with us.
To ALL viewers... One thing that is important but which this man did not (seem to) choose to do: After cleaning the brake components, carefully apply heat-resistant grease (I use Suzuki's Super Grease Type A) to the lobe/cam which opens the brake shoes forcing them against the inner walls of the drum (wheel). If you do, you will get a smooth return (the brakes go back to the 'off' position) when you release the brake lever. I have not done this on my PCX yet, but have done it on my other scoot, on which it seems to be necessary about every 5,000 kilometres. Happy trails!
As well as lube on the cam that opens the shoes, put some copper grease on all the bolts before replacing them - much easier to remove them next time. If that was your first go you did a good job and saved yourself some cash as well as learning about your bike. Nice one...
Thank you for the video!! I got a flat and the tire shop wants $65 just to put on the new tire I bought from them, or free if I can just bring in the wheel. So thank you for helping me save $65 from these blood sucking mechanics!!! $120 just for a new rear tire here in Guam!! Island life. Cant wait to get back to the States!!!
I need HELP. i've been trying to remove my PCX rear wheel. but i am stuck in loosening the main bolt on the rear wheel, i used impact driver, but it wont even budge. Please help me master...
When I took the rear tire Bolt off of my PCX. instead of using a impact gun to take that bolt off . I used a ratchet and a rubber mallet. and Hit the ratchet lever with the rubber mallet. (it came off relativity quickly). That bolt needs short bursts of pressure instead of applying pressure on the ratchet long and hard. ( I don't have a impact gun , and don't feel like buying one. at the moment. so that Is why I did what i did.
Got if off Amazon, search 12v impact gun and it should show up... www.amazon.co.uk/AEG-97135-Screwdriver-Digital-Accessories/dp/B004PZG59G/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1427923032&sr=8-1-fkmr0&keywords=12v+impact+gun

Thankyou for this very useful video! I have to do the same job on my Honda Sh 150. Thanks to your video I'm less scary :)
Thanks for this. A good step by step guide.
Just bought a white 2015, thanks for the vid. Gonna replace those OEM tires with pair Michelins. Be easy.
City Grips are the best!
the way I get those tight axel nuts to move is to put the handle of the wrench into a 2.5 ft piece of pipe. The extra leverage does the trick.
Congrats for the videos!
thanks mate..this video was really useful.. thanks to you I could take that damn wheel out :)
Perfect Guide ! Thank You !

Best to get someone else to sit in the bike and hold the rear brake on. Use a breaker bar. Should work fine. Don't ruin a ratchet!
Good jop. I will can do it.
Thanks for this video !
Don't mind the sub titles but, I prefer demo videos where everything is explained; from the order in which things are done to the tools one uses.
What type of brake drums you have used?
Great!!!
How much torque that tool. Forum removal nut.
Tanks for the video.

I was hoping to hear his lumbar vertebrae pop. Imagine someone in their 50s or 60s straining on that axle nut. Way to go, Honda!!
Don't use a ratchet for high impact work like that. I've seen them disintegrate.
A breaker bar is accurately named for just that job.
That's great!!!!!!!
Hi, from where can i download the torque settings for the pcx? Thanks
+Roderick Cavallo Finger tight then nip it up seems to work just fine for everything and ive had no problems, recheck after a week or so...
118Nm for rear axle nut
