How'd you do the tops of the rear doors? I'm debating cutting an access panel, as it'll be covered by my walls, but am not convinced its the right path!

I have a cargo model so I don't even have the holes all the way up that passenger door panels would pop into. I took off the lower panels and shoved Thinsulate up the sides as best I could. I'll use 1/4" plywood backed with 1/4" Foamular after drilling some holes to mount it with. It's better than 0? I have heard others are going to cut a 2" hole, paint it, put a grommet on it, and stuff insulation in that way. I don't think I'm that ambitious, plus all those raw metal filings would be inside the door. I guess I'll even potentially have to deal with that just to have mounting holes for plus nuts... so there's that... if you come up with a genius idea, please share!

@@VanTransitions the access hole is the only thing I can imagine. I’ve been planning to try and snake a shop vac hose up there for shaving collection. I’m mostly concerned that I’ll mistakenly pierce the outer skin.
I’ll try to leave a comment if I come up with anything worth mentioning. Thanks for sharing your build - it’s been helpful to me!

I hear ya, they don't make stop collars for the big hole saws! Good luck with your decision and thank you for the compliment! First big 8020 order is hopefully a week away and I'll get to do a garage/bed area video.
