This is the exact reason why I didnt celebrate early. I reached A-1000 after hotel+ update(this item was originally a camera called nvcs-3000 and rooms used to be more strict than it is now) and I looked around the end place of rooms by moving the camera very slowly(because I had like 10 hp) and then went back to doors and somehow managed to reserve the nvcs-3000 and beat the game.

This item is a waste. You lose it when you die and it doesn't even recharge when put in a rift.
This is no better than the scanner. Atleast the scanner showed you key item locations + night vision.
ICL, its not worth the 3 hours, even if its easier now.
[But hey, thats just me.] I've gone to A-1000 myself, and i would rather have the scanner in my rift than a glowing barrel of jarate.
(Absolutely no hate here. I understand some people do like the barrel of starlight, and i'll admit, going fast seems cool. But "MAXIMUM OVERDRIVE" + Vitamins exists, so.....)

I think the fastest you can go is being on seek chase drinking vitamins, drinking every curious potion, drinking barrel of starlight and using maximum overdrive I think thats the fastest you can go😃
