Number 5 by Rodney Marsh is undoubtedly one of the most exciting Rangers goals of all time....he riminds me of the way Matt le Tissier sometimes seemed to play in slow motion and just lazily swing his whole leg at the ball but get massive power on it.
Those were the glory days of the majestic Rangers of the seventies. Not many teams could play us. Francis, Bowles, Clements, Thomas, Givens and even Leach not to mention Marsh and the other stalwarts of the team, Venables, Webb, Mcklintock and Masson. Givens was great In my view underestimated but we had a great team and they scored goals galore. It also helped to have a great goalkeeper in Parkes. Clements was a powerful wing back before wing backs came into fashion. Somehow we hope that QPR will rise again to be a top team in the twenty- twenties.
Number 14 is a good example of the telepathy Gerry Francis had with Stan Bowles.....Francis is charging upfield with the ball with seemingly nowhere to pass,but without even looking over his shoulder he instinctively knew Stan would be right behind him supporting.
Surprised you didn’t include footage of other great goals we’ve seen on the Facebook group, such as Dave Clement’s effort against Aston Villa and Stan’s last gasp free kick v Coventry in the FA Cup.
QPR looked great in that "Feyenoord" away kit. Rangers should bring it back. Not the "Celtic" green and white hoops. Dave Thomas what a great player for Rangers and Portsmouth!

Sadly haven't got the footage of those ones, i knew there would be a lot of good ones left out
