Stan Bowles was a genius.
QPR were buzzing there.
So under rated.
Our Stanley...
Was there unbelievable long journey back
I watched him play for the Rowdies.
Nice one Dave great to see how Marsh stamped his authority in getting goals for the club. Although I was looking out for Rangers, since they got relegated from division 1, I wasn't too clued up as to what was going on, as I had yet to visit Loftus Road being a bit too young and living in north London with no QPR fans around.
Thanks Dave for organising this history footage. Didn't know anything about Brian Bedford but what a goal scorer! He has to be one of the greats that played for QPR.
Can I suggest you do footage on Barry Bridges. I don't know hardly anything about him but do know he scored a number of goals for QPR with Rodney Marsh alongside.
Hi, Barry Bridges is on my list to do a video of, aim is to do one a week although my real job slowing that down a bit at the moment
I had forgotten how good he is!
Brilliant!!! Proper English football heritage 🏴❤🇬🇧⚽🏴
I only watched him in person when he played for QPR, but he was so class with the ball at his feet. An English player well ahead of his time. He will never be forgotten in this house.
My Lifetime XI no.10 👍🏻👏🏻🙌🏻👑
He was born in Devon!
That Portsmouth goal was 99/00, he was at Huddersfield in 00/01
Why was he called Sir Les?
Fans used to sing "Say Leslie Ferdinand, Say Leslie Ferdinand" to the Oops Upside your Head song, a commentator miss heard this and thought we were singing Sir Leslie Ferdinand, it got in the press and just stuck really
Why was the goal at Loftus Road vs Man Utd in the 94/95 season left out?
the long range one? It's number 1
@@QueensParkRangersMemories Oh, it wasn't coming up at the time I originally watched the video. Thanks
Favourite player, only player I ever got on back of a shirt
2:50 John Jensen. Goal (Arsenal)
Super player for Argyle as well. Has a mural at the stadium
My favourite player growing up ❤
GreaT PlaYer Could HaVe PlaYed LonGer Thor US..........

You can have your Stans - Gerry is my main QPR & ENGLAND hero anyday:
Foot like a traction engine.
2 class goals by Barker. What's wrong with Keown's goal first half?
QPR at their peak and Ipswich starting to grow into the team that had success in the late 70's early 80's.
The doors always open to return home 💙🤍💙🤍💙
BALLER 💙🤍💙🤍💙
Please no more mirror images
What is with the mirror image replays? Everything is wrong way round 🤣
just trying something out with the replays
ggs
Met him quite a few times, a gentleman.
I remember that one against Pompey because the whole of Fratton park went silent🎉
ABSOLUTE BALLER 💙🤍💙🤍💙
FUCKING LEGEND 💙🤍💙🤍💙
45 yards!!! about 25.
MaGicKal EXperience
Francis est t-il Gerry ou Trevor ?
Another game I'd not seen the highlights of before. You Rs!
Great video. First time I've seen these extended highlights with pre and post match comments. Was lying on my parents' couch at home with heavy flu at the time. What a result! You Rs! Come on Roy, you missed a 5th there!
Metal boxes are always a problem for players😊
Great video. Had to mute the sound though!
A true gem of a player, pinpoint crossing with both feet. One of my favourites. Good luck David.
nice away kit combo, white blue and red.
I watch QPR in danish tv in the seventies and love them 💙🤍 play and fans and their shirt 💪💙🤍 COYR 's
RIP Stan x
RIP Terry Venables
Who misses Tony Roberts after watching this shambles of a performance
THIRD BEST QPR of all time - only Gerry & Stan beat DT:
Under Alec Stock we had a Circus of Talent............and Rodnee was the Clown Prince of the Ball...Bless him!!!
