We really like that track cleaning car. The round cleaning disk moves in a circular direction, more of the pad cleaning a larger area of the 3 rails. Traditional cleaning car pads just clean the rail with the same small pad surface on a rail. Stuff quickly accumulates on the same pad area. This new circular motion seems way better. Saw them at york, expensive but a good idea. So widh you mentioned price. Gary

Agrred the cost for that cleaning car was at york, believe between $250 to $350. Cant recall the price. But, likely a necessity for a larger layout with hard to reach areas. Gary
The construction vehicles look amazing in the consist. Can imagine having a dozen of them in one consist? That would look incredible but I know they’re pricey but they are well worth it. Pretty cool cleaning car curious to see how it works. Great video! Frank

Nice stuff Brian! Well done! Oh, I'd order in some replacement track cleaning pads if I were you. I've got a Lionel track cleaning caboose that uses the same system. It does a great job but MAN those pads dirty up quick! I guess that shows you just how well it's working!
Thanks Wayne I will! Someone else commented that these are way better than traditional cleaning cars just dragging a non spinning cloth across the track, quickly picks up dirt. Time will tell on how they perform!

Nice cars ! I was fortunate enough to find 2 K Line aluminum circus passenger cars. Amherst is a great place to find cool stuff.
