So, that's Johnny Monaco? Well, of course I know it is. Had high hopes but, as expected I'm disappointed. IMHO Michael Grant brought youth & life to the band. Not saying they needed it but ya know it helped. I've got tickets for a PA show so guess I will get to see the difference live. Just enjoyed Michael's vitality, youth, energy, looks, guitar playing ability, cigarette smoking vibe. So, does anyone care what I think, prob not but I gave it anyhow. Wanna have a little fun? Play this clip & compare it to Rip & Tear Michael's version. BTW, now how are they gonna take a "Purple Rain" break? Wonder what they were doing? O2/H2O? Just stirring the big ol pile!
Grant smokes Johnny. Phil’s Huge ego destroyed the best damn thing this band had had ever. Saw then in Boston before the unwanted fireing happened, Traci was Traci but Grant simply crushed it big time! The comments about Traci fighting for Grant to stay in the band seems to indicate there was only one Ego that couldn’t stand him. Horrible decision from management but whatever.

Honestly I love Tracii Guns but if you had a contest between him and Johnny Monaco, Monaco would blow him completely away, no ifs, ands, or buts.
don't know about that. Tracii can play just about anything...
