- Hey everyone, In this video I share why I've been absent and where my head has been. I'm hoping to get back to vlogging but I can't say exactly what days my videos will be up. Make sure to click the notification bell to make sure you get notified when I do put up new content. I've been so Mia on every platform for a lot of different reasons, some for my own mental health. So sorry for your loss Devon… I was literally just wondering where you got your sunglasses haha. Happy that you’ll be vlogging again. All the other vloggers I’m subbsed to besides the daily bumps have all lost themselves in trying to be the perfect Instagram mom with the perfect Instagram house and aesthetic and I hate it. I’ve stopped watching them bc they’re so fake and unrelatable but you’ve always been so down to earth and real. So this is refreshing! I’m hereby holding you accountable for your next vlog haha!!😜

Devon, I literally just checked your page yesterday wondering if at some point you had posted a video… It has been so long. I’ve been a subscriber since you were a brand new mommy to Paxton and have always loved your videos. Miss seeing you and your beautiful family. Hope to see them in your upcoming vlogs. And I’m so very very sorry about your dad. My husband is dealing with nearly end-stage renal disease. It’s very scary. Bless your heart Devon…you will get through this and I’m so glad you’re back.

So sorry to hear about your daddy. It’s hard to accept a loss like that. My mother has Alzheimer’s and I lose a piece of her everyday 💔 Praying for strength for you. I know how the heartache comes and goes and I’m sure you’re babies help keep your mind busy elsewhere. Take care of yourself and know it’s ok to process what you’re feeling and cry. On another note, I’m so excited to see more videos of you all, and pray for a great school year for your kiddos. ❤😌🙏🏼

I am so glad you are back. So sorry about your dad. I lost my dad in 2022 and it was so hard. He was only 64. He died of complications from a stroke. My son is the same age as Paxton so i understand that aspect too. I miss you and your family. I am glad you keep busy to keep your mind busy. I remember feeling guilty for keeping busy after my dad died. It all just seemed so pointless. But a year later it am doing better. Hope to see more of you guys!
I totally get the feeling of pointlessness. Grief is so difficult and an emotional rollercoaster.
Devon I’m truly sorry hearing the loss of your Dad, I know the hurt the pain but just trust God to bring you peace and comfort. I lost my Daddy back in December 31,91 that day changed my life forever. I was only 26yrs old married two children and a career and that all soon changed. Having my Mother and brother was a blessed but my husband and children and God is what got me through. It was tuff at times but you just have to remember all the Amazing things you did with your Dad.. My Daddy and I were very close and that made it even harder, however I do know that Heaven was where he wanted to be and he’s there no doubt about that.... I’ll keep you in my prayers! I think you making videos will help you more of a distraction, just take it one day at a time my friend.. Sending big hugs your way🙏🏻

I’m so sorry to hear about the passing of your dad ❤
Awwww big hugs! I lost my dad young a couple years ago. Stage 4 Cancer diagnosis and then 6 months later liver failure. It was the most difficult time I’ve ever gone through. Your heart will never heal but over time you will learn to accept his passing. I too am sad for my kids. My daughter was 1 when he died. Im so very sorry!
Thank you so much. It’s been difficult and like you said it’s even more sad when you have children and especially very little children who won’t remember them. That’s very difficult.
