Jack Farthing is a brilliant actor. He's so harmless in an interview - yet so menacing in his role as Warleggan, the epitome of malice and cunning. His performance commands one's respect.
Poldark was one of my favorites, of the Masterpiece classics. The entire cast were amazing in their roles, however, Jack Farthing was absolutely, brilliant. The folks who portrayed, Osbourne, Prudie, Judd and Foley, were outstanding, as well. Of course, all of the main characters were superb.
Do interviewers never let their guests finish talking even after asking them a long winded question? anyway Jack Farthing is a phenomenal actor in Poldark. To be a completely evil character yet love Elizabeth so dearly and completely, and show George's devotion, then evolving into a heartbreaking widower and even help Ross in the end. GAH it was spectacular in every way. 💖💖💖 I wept for him several times in the last season.
You right he rosed to top, just like fine cream. But that author look what she wrote. Poldark replaced with new BBC period drama? Writer Debbie Horsfield disclosure. She working on something else. She sounds like she bipolar.
Very true, I think he's a brilliant actor. He was almost made for the part. He speaks the 'olde English' very well too. All those posh words and phrases!
I have to say, this is the most PERFECTLY cast show I’ve ever seen. ALL of them. And I’m 60. EVERYONE is brilliant, just spot on. Kudos to the casting director. And Jack? Extra perfect. He oozes snobbery that he knows isn’t REALLY his.
OMG I love Poldark. Brilliant acting, beautiful music and scenery and a riviting storyline. I love the historical detail too. really good show...and slightly addictive.
Jack gave the best performance. I also loved Luke Norris. Of course I liked Aiden Turner, but I also felt like I had to. Luke’s Dwight balanced his heroism with integrity and true nobility, though Ross’ risk-taking invigorated the story. Jack, though, has the ability to dig deep into character, to communicate nuance and motivation through his eyes, and he can make us care for a troubled, ruthless and profoundly insecure character. Also a beautiful man.
One of the best shows ever. All the actors are so good and fit the parts so well. It is nice to see George being normal. He is such a good actor that you just hate him in the show.
If I had discovered this series sooner, my whole life would’ve changed… As a painter I have my hands full painting the most wonderful scenes. Boy, the photography and the colours are overwhelming. A never ending challenge… marvellous!
Watching the finale of the 5th series after binge-watching Poldark (again, for the nth time) never fails to produce a feeling of regret, like losing a friend. Wonderful series, beautifully cast and realized. Among the finest television ever produced, of any time or genre.
@@miraclelove991 My goodness I love it too when he is being all snobbish or angry! And Oh my his hair...I love his hair soooooooooo much *faints* ! Forgive me I'm 33 years old and appear to have regressed to being a complete FANGIRL!
They talking about they running out of the books, to copy from. So season 5 maybe the last episodes. I say bring in another writer. Then they killing off main characters. They claim Mr Goodlooking is going to kill his new wife, season 4.
@@miraclelove991 I live in the UK so I have seen season 4 in June/July on the BBC so I know what happens...I don't do spoilers so I can neither confirm nor deny!!!! 😊
All the actors of this series are amazing!! The story has been carefully portrayed! Jack plays its role superbly (in every single step of the whole narrative, being the villain is not an easy deal)!! Heida performs beautifully!! I'm completely magnetized by all of them!! Bravo!!!!
What would Poldark be without George? ... Jack Farthing plays this role in such an excellent way... I hadn't noticed how handsome he is, as like most of us Poldark fans, I've been busy hating him. Heida Reed is lovely too.
I don’t know how many people are aware that Heida is not English but is Icelandic. I saw her in an Icelandic Netflix series called Lava Field, speaking Icelandic, of course.
YES!!!!! George is the bad guy.......but the brilliant way that Jack plays him you can see that George, for ALL his money, possessions, status, and power, George IS really pitiful. 💕
Heida and Jack are true professionals in their work. Both of you are very believable as your characters! In Memphis, Tennessee, birth place of Rock n Roll, Poldark is on Thursday night's. How appropriate I enjoy your work in Memphis because you both ROCK! Keep up the good work, you make a great Team! Elizabeth makes my Heart twerk!
Watched this show up to part 4. Enjoyed every moment. The acting was superb and it brought to life what life wd have been at that time. Looking forward to Part 5.
Jack is hot! 😍 his acting is marvelous OMG! I enjoy every minute of his character on Poldark♥️ to me Dr. Enys (Luke Norris) and Jack are the 2 geourgeus ones on the show.
Elizabeth has turned into an ice queen in season 3. And she's doing....OMG... drugs to cope with being married to George. LOL Geoffrey Charles is already quite the rebel.
Jack Farthing plays a great villain. Could you imagine him being on Game of Thrones as a Lannister...The whole Poldark Cast was awesome but Aiden Turner, Farthing, Luke Norton and Eleanor made the show.
Even though George is a bad guy in Poldark I felt he loved better than the poldarks and I felt sorry for him when bad things happened to him. And In the end when he left the home he lived with Elizabeth in I felt so trapped and sorry for him when he “left” Elizabeth there.

Between Poldark and Doc Martin, Cornwall has become England's second most popular place to visit. I forget the first...some big city. Starts with an L, I'm thinking. Sherlock lives there. Somebody help me, I'm American.
I just finished watching Poldark and I absolutely hated George and he is so fantastically lovable and still feels like George in the interview. What an actor
How can we see the whole video clip where the question about how Aidan and Seamus are comes up for Jack to respond he is a kind of Elegant in how he deals with it at the end? It is so unfair to have video clips butchered like this and cut pieces out of it. It changes the content of interview!
А мне нравился Джордж, хотя я абсолютно не такая, как он. Он вызывал во мне жалость, как ребенок, который только и делал что кричал миру «Полюбите меня , я ведь добрый и только притворяюсь плохим». ❤
OMG.... what a difference..... the character of George is such a W&&ker, I'd love to smack his smug face most of the time!!!!! .....To see the actor behind the role is great.... Go Jack!!
Poldark replaced with new BBC period drama? Writer Debbie Horsfield disclosure. In mid-air the author wants to stop the series because of all those popups in her big head. She got better drama. She must be bipolar. They need to bring in another writer. Sept. 30 will begin the 4th series. Such a great movie with all the right characters but a messed up author.
Jack Farthing is a brilliant actor. He's so harmless in an interview - yet so menacing in his role as Warleggan, the epitome of malice and cunning. His performance commands one's respect.
This is probably going to be his best role in life. This role here will probably make a very wealthy man.
It is hard to imagine him being anything else than George, he plays him so well, this is why I had to see this clip lol

Jack is a great actor. He makes you love to hate George, the ultimate achievement for a bad guy character.
He was good in Spencer as well
This show would be nothing without George and Jack plays him brilliantly!
Avril Tremayne Certainly
I agree. Jack does excellent job playing an evil George.

He wouldn’t have those lines without Aidan’s Ross portrayal.....Ross & George are a treat to watch
Jack is wonderful he does evil so well.
Jack is very amazing actor. Honestly, he is good looking one also with high education.

Doris Watson You wonder if Jack is really acting.😆
I would say Jack is different from is character. Very articulate. Thank you for the clip.
Both Heida and Jack are extraordinary actress and actor. You have portrayed your characters wonderfully well. Thank you.
He’s one of the best English actors Ive ever watched on PBS.

He is handsome fullstop... to me at least anyway!!!
He is more handsome in the movies with that extra curls and those looks when he holds his head up kinda snobbish or angry. He is good with it.

A series is only as good as the villain is bad and Jack Farthing had it in spades. Bravo to him! He could be the next generation’s Ebenezer Scrooge.
He is a tremendous and jaw dropping actor
Watched this show up to part 4. Enjoyed every moment. The acting was superb and it brought to life what life wd have been at that time. Looking forward to Part 5.
Jack is an amazing actor, a dark role on "Poldark" and showing his comedic talents on "Blandings"
She is absolutely breathtaking
Love Jack Farthing, a real actor you love to hate. And Heida Reed pulls a period character quite nicely as well.

I've watched 6 episodes of season 3 and I have to say ... Best season yet by far!
But I still miss Downton very much. sniff sniff.
great show.. these are brilliant actors.
Heida prettier in real life than in the show I think

Watched now the last episode of season 5.. George captivated us... the last heroic he did... stole the show ..brilliant acting..
Georges is my favorite ! So fun.
Nothing without a good bad guy ! Admiration de France Jack !! Tu Es un excellent "méchant "
I love the character that Jack plays.
Tylko czekać.
I love "Wallegen"s" expressions when he realizes that Poldark has bested him again. Priceless.
Yes, his face contorts with utter rage, then he gathers himself and up goes the nose in the air again, planning his next strike. LOL
How is Jack such a sweetheart???
He is a great bad guy but my favourite is his reaction faces to anything Poldark does. Just pure contempt.
Yes, GREAT facial expressions......!
Elizabeth has turned into an ice queen in season 3. And she's doing....OMG... drugs to cope with being married to George. LOL
Geoffrey Charles is already quite the rebel.
Jack is a great actor and an amazing vilain ! Good job !
George ed elisabeth artisti fenomenali ,eccezionali indimenticabili li adoro❤❤❤
He’s my favorite character.
Heida doesn't get to be in Cornwall much because the house they use for Trenwith is glaringly and incongruously located in the Cotswolds.
Why wasnt I born in Great Britain?
Jack Farthing plays a great villain. Could you imagine him being on Game of Thrones as a Lannister...The whole Poldark Cast was awesome but Aiden Turner, Farthing, Luke Norton and Eleanor made the show.

You can tell that Jack Farthing really hates doing these promotional shows.
He looked just sleepy to me like with jet lag... didn’t look like he hated it.

0:18 Wow, how old are they now, George and Elizabeth Warleggan? Over 200 years old and they don't look a day over the 30-somethings!

Elizabeth should be blonde, it makes her character more fitting as an ice queen.
Indeed, and in the books she was a blonde, and Demelza a brunette! I even think Heida could still pull off blonde quite well.
I didn't realize that all introverted women were ice queens. What a goddamn cliche!
Elizabeth was blonde in the original series in 1975.
