Zephyr dyno I respect your opinion, but I do think their are a lot of exceptions. For instance, If I was a bruins fan I wouldn’t like Marchand’s actions on the ice besides scoring and no matter what team I root for I always will hate Torres. Yes I am a hawks fan but come on, there are players out there that give out so many injuries and play so dirty that it really almost ruins the integrity of the sport in general.

From a Ranger fan to a Canuck fan I can understand your thoughts. I was 19 in 1994 but I still remember it like yesterday. Cheering for a team that doesn't win very often makes a cup win that much more to cherish. I have Canadian family so when the Rangers are not in, I am cheering for the cup to return north!

Buffalo is hard to cheer for because they absolutely suck. Im a Sabres fan and it’s unbearable man.
UA-cam recommended me this older video of your Shannon. I also get to cheer for underdogs. I was glad when both the Caps and the Blues won their first championship. Buffalo and Vancouver are also some teams who I wish a cup at some point!

In Toronto Jake Gardiner is gone next year, The Leafs were in position to win games and lost last year and this year; because Gartner panicked and got that brain cramp he gets when he's under pressure. Just gives the puck away in the slot, over and over again during the same play until the puck is in our Net. I expect new face's in Toronto Next year, I like Marnier and he did lead the Leafs in score, only because Matthews missed 20games. A health Matthews would have challenged for the scoring title, he's score more even strength goals on the road in the last 2 years; than any other player and he missed 20 games as I said. His stick handling in A+ and he's got a rocket release. He's an Elite player,[No hype] and he'll have abundant success on the Leafs. /OUT/ JVR/Bozak and Gardiner. It might surprise a few folks, I see an Elite player coming to Toronto next year. Two fresh faces will make the jump from the Minors next year, man it's sweet finally having a deep pool of talent to depend and lean on. [Tavares] Is one of the names that could end up in Toronto, with JVR and Bozak gone; 9.75Million in cap opening. Tavares money will be on the table, Gardiner will likely go to a west coast team for a pair of 2nd round picks.

You should be proud of your team. Did I mention that they have the pretties white jerseys(sweaters)? When they first released it i was like meh. But when I held Marc-Andre Fleury's authentic away jersey I was like: Daaaaaamn! Woooooow! This is beautiful! Really, really beautiful! I'm not even a fan of white jerseys for any sport but Vegas gets a massive, automatic pass from me.

Hey bud. Found your channel watching Series previews. Bar none, best non network hockey channel. Subscribed. New Caps fan on your Chan! Been watching Hockey since 7(33 now). Had parents put a T.V. in my room to watch as a kid. My Dad would let me sneak out to the car during scout camping trips, and listen to the Caps lose to the Penguins in the 90s.
Had a couple of good runs in the 90s. Now this team doesn't seem to have a heart/champion gear in the playoffs. This core is a love/hate.
Have to be honest, really like the way they moved their feet against CBJ. Something I haven't seen even on supposed better Capital teams. Getting their whole body in the play, not just poking at the play/puck, and hustling to loose change. But, it's the Penguins. If they keep their feet moving, and Holts stays strong we have a chance. But, I'll be the first to call them out on their no hustle, no heart.
My fellow fans hate me on the Caps facebook. Oh well, I know I love my team. Anyways, thanks for reading. Great Videos. Will watch all new additions from now on. Good luck to the Bruins. But, like you said. TBL was going to beat eithier team. But, that's why they play the games.

Nothing about players that drive your cheering? I'm not a big Rangers or Capitals fan, but was so rooting for Lundqvist to get a ring last year, and for Ovechkin both last and this. Without those players I would not care much about them, same could be said about Karlsson in Senators.

1: Nashville - considering I based like 85% of these picks around smashville I bet I surprised nobody. My brother always played as the Flyers when we played NHL 2003 and I needed a team. I was in 2nd grade so when the Preds had a player named Tootoo immature me loved them. Then, next year I became best friends with someone from Nashville and liked the preds. The rest is history. Oh, and Pekka Rinne is my bae.

You're certainly entitled to your opinion, and you totally don't have to be a fan obviously, but I'm not seeing how Matthews is overblown personally. He came in and scored 40 goals, and 69 points as a rookie. His sophomore season, he has 30 goals, and 24 assists in just 57 games (a 78 point pace in 82 games). He is one of the best goal scorers and most proficient 5 on 5 players in the entire league. A strong possession player. Good at the dot. And plays a 200 ft game. If he's not a top 10 center in the league right now, he's quite arguably on the cusp of it.
+KNorth2 he never said he doesn't like Mathews yes he said he is overblown and it is an overstatement of course but he seems to like underdog players as well as underdog teams so yea, can't believe he doesn't dislike kadri tho :P
It's just that TSN and Sportsnet forces fans of other Canadian teams to see him all of time. It makes it seem like he's on Crosby and McDavids level

They talk about him because he's the best player on a canadian team. They also talk a lot about McDavid, and Karlsson, and Laine/Schiefele and Boeser. Good players get talked about. Except maybe Gaudreau, he gets talked about kinda criminally little imo.

Matthews may be overhyped, but he is still the best player on the leafs. Still has a point per game.
