In the other story though they were not steps, there was just a golden child. But yes, this is confusing about the parentage!

Yeah, this story is a hot mess, you can’t have 2 steps, there’s one bio parent, badly put together, they skipped the part about what happened after the phone call. Strangely done. 😵💫
