While viewing this segment I downloaded/installed the app and it is exactly like you said. It is fantastic. I'm sharing this with the IT teams I used to work with. What a resource you are and the products you demo. Thanks so much - you are awesome!
Nah bro I'm just making diagrams about the times where I am bored and make diagrams about the times where I am bored and make diagrams about the times where I'm bo.. Legend says they are still talking.
One of the best things about your UA-cam channel is that I can constantly find useful information even if I'm looking through videos that aren't recent. Thanks for all of the great content!
I used it for a network/wifi diagram for an small hotel last december, I export it as png and svg for the customer and for future IT worker if they need to dig into it later.
Nice. Now all we need is this diagram graph tool combined with software defined networking a-la ZeroTier or Nebula, so we can set up and configure multiple networks or VPNs all tied together in a mesh, with little arrows for rules, using a GUI and not have to deal with messed up routes or subnet overlap :)
Some of the advanced features appear half done. It has an awesome ability to store data for shapes, and define user-custom data elements. But no way to show tose properties, or drive styling from them, or more importantly export them. Does look like a great too though.
I’ve been using yEd for years, but I think this is better. Meanwhile one of my professors keeps telling us to buy a paid software (I keep forgetting the name) but this actually seems to have more features than either one of those
@@LAWRENCESYSTEMS honestly, the one our professor wants us to use has less features; And I like the openness - I switched from yEd to draw.io / diagrams.net yesterday.
hi. Do you know what software did they use to create diagrams.net? I want to try and create a simple version. just to try. If you don't mind, can you please let me know?
Hey Tom - thank you for sharing all the information that you do through your videos. They are extremely helpful. To return the favor, I wanted to make sure that you are looking at the PPP (Paycheck Protection Program); it's part of the recent stimulus package. I'm guessing you already are, but if not, call your accountant THIS MORNING and get his/her ass on it. It goes live today and is limited to $450 bln for all businesses with less than 500 employees, and is being administered on a first-come, first-serve basis. It's an extremely attractive federal program for small businesses. Thanks again for all the videos!

Awesome video Lawrence! Loved the advanced section. Please do more on this!
This will massively simplify my software and harware planning process. So far, I only worked with bare text (org-mode). Thank you for showing me this!
I'm blown away by the fact that you can type connections in a text file and have the tool lay out a diagram for me.
Thanks for your help. I had trouble to find how to save my diagrams.
I really appreciate your videos showcasing useful info / tools.

There is probably some paid software that has more features, but do you need those features?
@@LAWRENCESYSTEMS honestly, the one our professor wants us to use has less features; And I like the openness - I switched from yEd to draw.io / diagrams.net yesterday.
Yed is damn slow under linux.. but i love it
