I was 17 in 1992 and was listening to Anthrax - persistence of time, Pantera - vulgar display and Faith no more and Soundgarden a lot. Death metal really grew on me in the mid and late 90s. Now it's my usual go - to. Just great stuff with headphones! Countdown to extinction and Dirt just age like fine wine so those will always be on a 1992 list for me. Cool topic y'all, cheers 🍻

How about Exciter "Kill After Kill"? Great comeback album: heavy and aggressive. Unfortunately, it was a low profile, import-only release that too few people knew about. If you're into their earlier material, go find this one. The last good album featuring Dan Beehler on vox!

Interesting how Faith No More appears to be more of a niche at SOT
Martin Popoff says FNM were insufficiently commercial. When they are still that good, that’s an added bonus in my book.
"Angel Dust" is to me... a level of genius...I mean not everybody can connect...it's very very special ..... for an ovni like that they had great success...if it was the first album of a new band now (without "midlife crisis"as a single)...nobody would cares in terms of sales that's my opinion
