BIG RESPECT TO GUVNA GREGAH FOR PROCESSING & EDITING THE VIDEO
I live in Huddersfield and it feels so weird looking at the old version of Huddersfield
The new version is no better
What do u mean by feeling weird and old version
mhm
I lived here in 2009 and came back in 2019 and its not much different . Thornton Lodge is quiet compared with when a bloke was shot and the killer stopped in my garden to sort himself out and I suspect hide his gun in the long grass by tracks. Nobody been stabbed, shot or attacked here in 3 years .
Brackenhall estate was part of my school route when I was really young. This was around the late 90s. I remember the area quite well, houses were boarded up, not to mention you’d find Asda trollies scattered on the roads, pavements and gardens. Place was so desolate, I don’t even remember seeing a single person in the area.
That reminds me of the wyther and houghley estate in Leeds in the 90s the houses and car burnt out roads a mess kids armed with weapons to attack car going through it was called ‘mini beruit’
0:42 a woman who knows her stuff. Big ups whoever she is for speaking the truth instead of just pandering to the police
BIG UP PHOENIX NIGHTS !!!
Big up @Saffron Saffron............PEACE
Is that Donwin in the brown leather jacket?
They knocked the estate down and rebuilt it so the cops could catch the poor trying to earn some money the only way available for too many youths. Education and support to get into gainful employment would have been a better use of the funds
I remember that situation. .why burn a man's car who worked hard for this.
Can someone explain to me what actually triggered all this?
Ed B Visuals the plod
Boredom
The police raided a particular pub they had agreed to give concession to. it triggered a few brutal arrests, the community reacted, the police reacted, it spiralled out of control..
paranoia of certain people
Too many black people.
Donwin RIP ....legend
I worked in that pub and it was full of all sorts of drugs,,most people that brought the drugs into brackenhall never grew up on that estate or lived in Huddersfield,,

Bought my first car from Johnny Flowers. Hope he is still okay.

Big up old school men dem
Little kids need to grow up
These are all the dads who ran away from responsibilities
Liam (The Ham) Canning started this riot
@Gorgon Don but if you do your research you'll see that, then member of a nationalist group - Liam "the Ham" Canning was actually responsible for inciting hatred amongst the community. This was the catalyst for the riots. I'll see if I can find the newspaper cut outs for this with all the above stated facts
This was bad parenting not racial.
BULLSHIT
1.46 grow up
