Unfortunately Moon couldn’t meet all of the slugcats, like Artificer. Would’ve been alot better too for Arti since she could’ve gotten actual proper wisdom/therapy from Moon.

I like to imagine the encounter would be Moon sadly pointing out Artificer’s flaws (stuck on low karma) like Pebbles, but rather than being like “ok that sucks now go kill” she would actually sympathize with Arti, pondering how the slugcat must have gone through something terrible for their entire being to be locked upon such a path.

personally i always imagined that moon would be collapsed + lifeless (as hunter hasn’t gotten to her yet.) the scene would play into the contrast between the two characters life paths and current states. moons themes of forgiveness and artificers themes of revenge, though both broken in different ways.

Yeah, I like to think that moon’s presence is extremely comforting to all the slug cats, in particular riv spearmaster saint and arti, but arti can’t meet her.

I'm very much a fan of how some of these parts play with the composition; the use of different panels, shots of Moon looking at herself, and the scripting from 0:39-1:18 really stand out to me as especially well-executed as one whole section.
