I dunno who's responsible for the art, but I just want to say that portraying Sayaka upside down is a fantastic touch.
I like how the backgrounds of the stained glass windows are the things that took each of them down.

And Madoka’s having nothing/no enemy in it represents her *wish* being what ultimately took her down in the end (well, what made her practically ‘non-existent’ for lack of a better word). It’s sad😭

Anyone else think Kyubey is an excellent villain. He's the kinda cunning devil figure and a true heel (love to hate villain). His plan is also quite unique.I thought his fate was also quite fitting.
Also this cover is freaking awesome.
Well Kyubey isn't a villain per say, look at this way there was an impending doom to befall the universe and to stop it the universe decided human girls to be the sacrifice. But in return any wish the girls wanted would be granted in order for there to be give and take. Kuybey doesn't also have emotions to understand the pain they are going through either.
@@djm6623 You know what...I actually think he is lying about saving the world from a heat wave....He and the other incubators could be impostors and hide their true abilities from man kind. Remember the shadow incubator....I doubt he is as reasonable contractor as he seems. This is my theory...

Kyubei also doesn't think of himself as a villain, he can't understand why we would think of him as evil because he's a total alien. I bet his species considers him ugly and not cute looking too.
@@djm6623 I wouldnt say "he isnt a villain per say", I would rather say he isnt "The typical" villan per say. In the movie Rebelion, Madoka had already solved the entropy problem yet the incubators put Homura into an isolated state from madoka so she could wake as a witch with the pupose to capture madoka.
This cover lured me into watching this anime.

Spoiler Warning.
Sayaka the one who fell to despair, is up side down.
Homura and Kyoko the ones who rose out of hell have flowers above rather then below representing there accession, how they triumphed in have gone beyond despair.
Each has some representations of the witch they last fought behind them.
Except Madoka who never fought a witch. she instead flipped the tables and stopped them from ever existing.
Or in a more morbid turn, Madoka who WAS the last witch she fought.
What about Mami?
Mami has a flower as her personal symbol which is interesting as the flowers appear to be representative of ideals. Madoka, Mami, and Sayaka all come from ideal backgrounds (tho not much is given on Mami's background) as such there flowers are beneath them. Homura and Kyoko both rise to an ideal state where they are immune to despair. So Mami being a flower makes a lot of sense, she is the ideal magical girl, soft, caring, firm, just, and mature. A "rare breed" as Kyube puts it. She acts as a sort of goal for Madoka, and ideal she wants to be like.
also im pretty sure there is some language of flowers stuff going on with the flowers chosen for each girl, but I don't know enough about flowers to say for certaint.
@@GaleGrim If I'm not mistaken, the sunflowers represent hope, light, and a new day, all things that Madoka fought to protect. I THINK Sayaka's are roses if I'm not mistaken, which could represent her romantic ideals, and how romance was inevitably her downfall, or even how her original reason for her wish being twisted into something romantic, hence the fact that they aren't the typical red roses that you think of, as she her world was drained of color, her roses have started to fade to white. I have no clue about the others, and I could be entirely wrong about all of this, so take this with a grain of salt.

A song that really fits what it was made for.
After all, Madoka Magica is a sad anime. Most of the characters end up dead due to witches or becoming a witch. Homura herself contracts to save many of the girls from the fate of death she has witnessed. Kyubey and his race causing despair just to harness energy is...sick...
And yet, did they deserve it? Truly, they made their wishes each for a purpose for either saving themselves or someone close to them.
Sayaka contracted to repair her boyfriend's hand.
Mami contracted to save her life after a car accident that left her alone.
Kyoko contracted to bring followers to her dad's church.
Homura contracted to save her friends, including Madoka, from death.
Madoka contracted to prevent witches from existing.
Yet they all suffered horrible fates.
Sayaka became a witch and also still dies in the new timelines.
Mami died at the hands of Charlotte.
Kyoko "sacrifices" herself to save Madoka.
Homura had to witness her friends dying many times through time.
Madoka had to leave her friends for many timelines to keep her wish.
Do their fates truly make sense? Each was a sweet individual who was caring and nice. Yet this happens to them. It's sad...

Please, do Magia, it's the ending theme of Madoka Magica. It's already amazing, and I feel an intense symphonic metal-ification would just make it that much better. Maybe even get someone to do a vocal cover like you did with Bad Apple. It'll be amazing.

I have to admit, while I'm not crazy about all your works, this cover is easily one of my favorites of yours, and a large part of it goes to how the outro was handled. I love that it fades out instead of cutting like a lot of your other pieces because one of the things about PMMM is that it is a cycle. The events happen again and again. And the way the outro seems to just loop endlessly fits very well.
