1. After people were baptized by John they asked what they should do to show they were repentant. How was Johns message about baptism different and the same as making sacrifices at the temple? What does it say about people that they had to ask John about this?
2. Read Matthew 3:13-17 AMP version. Why did Jesus have to be baptized? What does this say about Jesus
3. Why do you think John the Baptist had to prepare the way for Jesus? Why was it important for the Jewish people of the time?
