Magdeburg are the only former DDR club to have won a European trophy, the European Cup Winners' Cup. Carl Zeiss Jena did reach a final though in the same competition but lost to Dynamo Tbilisi from the USSR.
So actually the so called DDR-Oberliga used to consist of 14 Teams. The Second Division was then split into a northern and southern League with 18 Teams each
Yes, you can download most of them via sortioutsi.net as well, I'm yet to create a link for this one on there yet but I will in the coming days. sortitoutsi.net/user/content/1677523
@FMChallenger you'll just need to know certain pronunciations, here are a few examples: Ei - pronounced as "eye" in English, like Leipzig or Hoffenheim, that you'd already know Eu - pronounced as "noy" like NeuKöln being "noykoln" W are pronounced as v, J as y Zwickau - "zvikau", Jena - "yena" And so on, just make sure you'd know how to pronounce the names of the clubs you'd mention, especially if you'd talk about them for 50 minutes
Thats a extremely drastic demand you basically have no place to make. Our language is difficult, pronouncing it even more so. You simply cant expect someone to do that just for a funsies video, nor is it really that important. Not even mentioning that the pronounciation "mistakes" are insanely consistent in every native english speaker, so its not even a 5 minutr task, rather one for literal months of practice. "W is pronounced like V, V like F" is not a quickfix. Rather appreciate that someone even took the time to care about building such a league in the first place.
