I wish you would have gave us the total amount that she spent to make this project. That way we can compare how much it would cost to buy something similar to it.
2 wooden shelves, 2 rulers,1 picutre frame, 1 wood glue, that's six items times $1.25 (now) which is $7.50. It's the dollar store. Not hard to figure this out.
I just made a comment on a different video of yours. I hate crafts having grown up in the '70s and the eras of everybody making things out of egg cartons. But your stuff doesn't look like crafts. It really looks good! I'm shocked and impressed. You have a very inventive mind and you're very talented. And those two things don't necessarily go together.

And don't get me wrong they are great but there's only so much you can do to make them different I'm not going to lie to you when I saw this I thought not another one and then boom! Originality! :-)! Great idea! I love it! I would clear coat or contrast color paint it, to protect the lovely blond wood from stains... which for me, it's a guarantee... I like a pearl metallic, salmon color to show off your idea!:-)

However whenever I visit my cousin in New Orleans I always save up a little extra money(if possible)& got to the massive Dollar Tree not far from her house to get things to paint/paint on & to make DIYs.

Great idea. I would line it with some soft fabric so the glasses don’t get scratched!!
Or you could use the laminated, decorative shelf liner. They come in so many different designs now.

I use plastic hooks on the bathroom wall next to my mirror. Hang them folded up, by the piece between the lenses.

If you add a hook it wouldn't be too heavy. Or even 3M strips. They have the weight restrictions on the package.
