Now comparison here and there, Milan today is not as it was a few years ago, sure, but still they have mighty qualities if they only want to, and they will end up like around 5-6th place this year in the end I believe. Salah was kinda selfish today. He almost score 2, but still. Szoboszlai was a much better position at least 2 times, and Salah should do a simple back pass instead of shoothing from a worse position. I understand, he is a striker, and want to score, but he should look up more often, and see where the teammates are. In other games he does, and give good assists, but sadly not today.
Gakpo was incredible during the euros so I'm so happy he's carrying this on into the new season! Couple of the subs looked off pace so hoping he gives them more minutes to improve.

There is a clear intention on the part of some players in not passing the ball to Salah, despite his numerous and repeated attempts to implement the coach’s plan. However, the selfishness of the players clearly appeared during this match, which indicates a miserable failure for the team in the future in various competitions.
Salah was unlucky, Jota had a beautiful run from halfway that opened them up and passed to Salah but he just pushed it wide. That would have been a screamer of a goal.
Gravenberch needs to change his name to "Gravy" berch this guy has been sensational since Slot arrived. This was easily his best performance in a LFC shirt.
