Vietnam War 1955-1975 with USA direct involvement from 1965 to 1973 was a first war in 20th century that ended in USA total defeat by North Vietnam army and guerrilla fighters Viet Cong ( National Liberation Front of South Vietnam). A Superpower country loosing a conflict against small and poor nation was embarrassment to USA and the shock for the entire world.
Sure, if you look at it like that on paper. But my friend, reality is cruel. Let me ask you something. If you have two teams competing for gold medal and one team is losing heavily, suddenly one player from losing team says " Crap we will lose this! I'm out!" and then proceeds to turn around and exits the arena thus abandoning his team. Has that player won or lost the golden medal? And with that I take my leave and this is the last time I will get my self involved debating with someones political or personal truth when objective truth is clear. P.S: There was a comment here that accused my statement, on USA losing a Vietnam War, as a lie. The commenter stated that USA did not lose Vietnam War because they signed a Paris Peace Treaty with North Vietnam and then pulled all of army from a war zone. Thus leaving South Vietnam to fight a battle that THEY lost and not a USA. Well looks like my reply to their comment effected them deeply which caused them to remove comment. If that made them learn something new I am glad that it was educational.
This is impressively good
