Wow what a difference a year makes. The lake and river is up as well as the boat landings. Impressive weather changes from last year. Thanks for including the video portions from last year for comparison. Your right, the water increases will take a lot of time. Thanks for revisiting the lake and river.
Hooray for rising water in the big lakes and Colorado River. Great for drought relief but the agencies involved in water distribution still must be careful to save what is left for the coming drier years.
A 52 minute video.!! Flew by. Amazing how history has changed for the better for this year. Never would I have thought there could be so much greenery in the desert. Thanks for taking me along. Just for laughs I had to mow my greenery for 2 hours today. "NE Ohio". Still not as beautiful as the SW desert areas. 👍👍🏍🏍🏍🙋♂️
Lake Mead: recent news says the water gain is up 50 ft but "only buys them a year". Other news say a super El Nino may bring more wet weather across the southern US hopefully helps. Can't imagine what would happen to the California/Nevada/AZ population if it does go dry.
Lake Shasta water level is up to its tree line, first time I’ve ever seen it full. Am sure Gavin has the dam gates wide open, to drop the level, to keep whining for fed drought bucks. Fair Winds.
Nice video, Russ! I really enjoyed the Joshua trees. They are such a strange and wonderful plant - one of my favorites! They make great sunrise or sunset backgrounds!🌅
Thank you for showing your trips around America, really loving it from here in Australia, places that I will never see in my lifetime, you make it an enjoyable trip, so thank you
I got family that live there. That's probably where I'll end up once I get the heck outta here. The extreme cold & arthritis don't mix well. So happy ur far away from NWP coast bcuz seismic activity is still increasing. Glad ur back safe & sound. 👏🙌🫶👍
GREAT VIDEOS AS USUAL THIS IS TO COOL FOR SCHOOL LOVE YOUR VIDEOS IM IN FLAGSTAFF GETTING RAIN EVERYDAY AT LEAST 2 HOUR OF POURING RAIN VERY COOL TEMPS STILL SKIING ON THE SLOPES CRAZY 😮.
Wow Amazing I was born in Vegas and this is the first time I've seen the Colorado side. It's ashame because I'm 61 and look what I'm missing. Must do better this year
The desert looks absolutely beautiful and lavish. Your drone shots are great as always. Great news about rising water levels in lake mead. Looking forward to the next video. Safe travels.
I lived here in Kingman almost all my life from 79 my grandma moved there in 77 I think, then my other grandma and we fallowed after that and my daughter and family still live there , so you are enabling me to have so many memories, I had been going back and forth from Kingman Los Angeles and Flagstaff like I couldn't make up my mind were I wanted to be lol , I'm very happy I had moved around so much because I learned how to live self sufficient in the desert, city, and the mountains of Flagstaff, I also worked a season for the forest service up at lake Roosevelt, Arizona is my home over Los Angeles California without a doubt, there is nothing better than living in the land of dusty hot 🔥 beauty, thank you for your videos and if anyone here is or lived in Kingman I would like to say hi hope you are well , unfortunately I'm in Ohio now and cannot go back until my son is of age to decide what state he wants to live in because I could never ever leave him behind because he is my life, I left my daughter behind so many years ago and I will never make that mistake again, honestly i wish all 3 of us could be reunited in Arizona and never look back, hopefully some day, meadow if you see this I love you talk to you soon 😘 thanks again sir😢
Your trip to Pearce Ferry brought back lots of memories. Did an 8 day trip from Lee's Ferry to Pearce Ferry in 2018 and you are 100% right, it was the trip of a lifetime.
There's a saying : "Have you hugged a tree today ?" ... Not a thing you should do with a Yucca or a Joshua Tree ! LOL ! Now these are beautiful desert vistas you have captured. Excellent video, Russ !! Like you, I marvel at any place new I discover during my journeys, I remain a kid and a discoverer at heart ! P.S. I just sold my 5-ton Ford RV. I had it for 22 years but everything has to come to an end one day. Now I'm traveling lighter in a 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan, smaller inside but much less expensive to run and maintain. Maybe a trip to the Southwest this year, God willing. Rafting on the Colorado River, not for me though !! RICHARD
Just spent a week there, Havasu, Parker too. In a wheelchair and needed a handicapped shower. State park in Havasu was full so heard of showers at aquatic center but ended up getting a room midweek. Wanna go back in winter. I'm from Idaho and your vids helped a lot Russ. Spent a few days at Crossroads Campground in Parker. Great price and host was super cool. Grateful, beautiful drive in gods country. ✌️
🙋♀Hello Russ! Yep! I giggled & waved back to you in the sideview mirror. hehe I loved the aerial views, seeing the cloud shadows skim across the mountain. I was glad to see Lake Meade looking better. What an improvement from last year. It had a sadness to it last year. I'm glad it turned out to be a beautiful day!👍
Well cause to celebrate with a root beer float was the water levels and greenery! That’s gotta be a place where an affinity to sparkling water and colors of the desert just kick in! Thanks Russ!
The desert is beautiful during the springtime after a good rainy, snowy winter. We had measurable snow 6 times in Tucson this winter and weve had pre monsoon already. Every cactus and tree is blooming. So pretty right now.
Russ so glad to ride along as always. Hey the water is up at Meade and the Colorado River too. . I'm so glad I got to see the real deal as a ride along viewer. Be safe and well.
Great video. Really enjoy your videos from the Grand Canyon West area. I was able to go to the Grand Canyon West in 2021 and this reminds me of that time. Great memories. 👍
Hey Russ! Great fun video. I really enjoyed it. I love your fun attitude. You made it really enjoyable. I grew up down here and had been to Pierce ferry and south point but only by boat. I loved seeing the road route. I've always wondered, and now I know. Thanks for the ride. I am now one of your new followers. Thanks again, my friend
We just finished a two week trip through Arizona. I was amazed how green the landscape! Thanks for the comparisons with 2022. Makes me appreciate even more our perfect timing. Great video.
Great Video Russ! That South Cove and Gregg Basin are were my favorite areas on Lake Mead. Hopefully there will be another wet Winter and Spring next year. Safe travels Man!
Wow beautiful video with comparisons of 🌊 year. I would love to do the CO from Utah. I'm going to check out those guys you showed at Pearce Ferry Landing.
Hi Russ, you talked about tree farms, what type of tree are they farming over there? Here in New Zealand it's Pine and Eucalyptus. Been following you for some years now. Kiwi Dave New Zealand
Yea you have the place to yourself you can't park, launch a boat or no boondocking. don't make scence to me why is it even there🥴 great ride along Mr. Russ. Looking forward to sun.👍✌
it is for me very difficult to ride these routes russ,i live on the other side of the ocean,in the netherlands, but i enjoy every mile and minute of youre video,s
What a great comparison of what the rain has done. Mother Earth can really make one go WOW! Can't wait to get on the road later this year and become a Nomad. Hopefully I'll meet some nice folks along the way. Thanks for the videos. 😊
Thanks a lot, Russ. That brought back a lot of memories from my raft trip down the Colorado through the Grand Canyon in 1972. At the time, we were living in Santa Barbara so we took the train from there to the south rim of the Grand Canyon and hiked down the Kaibab Trail to Phantom Ranch, where we caught the raft for a four day trip out. In those days the rafts were a lot smaller, accommodating only nine people per raft. The trip cost $160 per person and they furnished everything including all the food. All you had to bring was your sleeping bag. We also brought lightweight tube tents we could crawl inside when going through rapids. I have sent you a link to that album, in case you want to see it.
Great update. I noticed acreage for sale that spans across Pierce Ferry Rd, now i see why "set for power!" Feels like they're interested in developers picking that one up for housing behind the road + commercial business facing the road. Done right, would be nice.
Where u shot that overlook at the end of your video is rigjt around the corner from where it really really changes . If someone covered your eyes and u went up river for a few miles u would think you got transported to another world!!! It would be a twilight zone moment !!! When i was in that part of the river in a bass boat in 2000 the river was really green and fertile.
Russ if you had been here (Meadview) one week later on Memorial Day Weekend you would have seen dozens of boats (big ones at that) on the lake. The boating activity has increased drastically in the last few months.
Thanks Russ for all your videos. I'm waiting to make my move back to Arizona and it helps watching your beautiful videos. Moving back after a long stay and Colorado. The closest I am to the Colorado River is 60 miles away in Grand Junction. The river that is here in Montrose, the Uncompahgre, comes off the San Juan mountains and after it reaches here, it goes on to Delta and dumps into the Gunnison which makes the trip up to the Colorado in GJ. Glad to see the water levels coming up. Our river here is full and running fast.
RVerTV Russ, Good to hear water up at Lake Mead. YEAH 👍
Happy Trails , United States America , Russ , RVerTV Fans. We Love RVerTV - BEST TV ON UA-cam. Water = Life. Thank you Russ.🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠
No matter the day I'm having...good, bad or average, Russ always makes it better!
Thanks for keeping the passenger seat open!
thank you
It's good to see the lake rising some. The drought was scary not just there but several places around the U.S.
Water is so precious.
Still, we need to conserve water in any way we can.
Blessed country. Huge territory and diverse landscape. Thanks for the video 😊😊. Korean subscriber

Hey hey Russ another great video that river lots absolutely beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
Lake Mead= looks like the Chamber of Commerce has embellished the facts. Another drought year and they are back to 2022.
Great video, keep um' coming!
big fan
Hooray for rising water in the big lakes and Colorado River. Great for drought relief but the agencies involved in water distribution still must be careful to save what is left for the coming drier years.
