OH MY GOSH!!! The lyric "He is with you in the I.C.U when the doctors don't know what to do...." gives me goosbumps!! My ex-wife has been in I.C.U for 2 weeks. Her organs shut down, has uncontrolled bleeding and on life support. After prayer chain, prayer vigils, miraculously she is healing, her organs starting to work. A true testimony to the power of prayer!!!!!

I was shocked and saddened to learn of Mandisa's passing.
She was such a beautiful woman of God, an inspiration, a precious soul.
I never met her personally but I saw her in concert, she was from Citrus Heights, CA and I was around there. I would put on her song "Good Morning" almost every morning for my kids to get ready for school. I've played her other songs as well. I have sent or played "He is With You" to many people, including my cousin on the day she passed last week.
Thank You, God, for the gifts you gave Mandisa and for allowing her to bless us all with them.
May You bless and keep Mandisa. My prayers are with her family. May they find strength, comfort, rest, hope, love, peace, and eventually joy🙏🕊️❤️

This is one of my all time favorite songs. It somehow seems all the more relevant in light of Mandisa's passing.
The day of my divorce I was so deep in depression that I couldnt even get out of bed. I was not represented and missed the whole thing. All I had was my son and he was also taken from me. I lost it all but God was with me. Amen! I lost everything but my life.
When I felt like I was about to give up to take my final breath I felt someone breathing in me. I left my family basement then drove 4 days to California with my son. Each time the enemy tried to take my life Jesus touched me healed me took care of me. He reminded me of Emmanuel God is with you. God was with still with me and always with me. Amen❤

@@greta3315 i am praying for you. He can and it may seem like this storm is never going to end. Then I am reminded to study the characters of the storms in your life and what season they come. They are not always blowing rain while we are in a boat with Jesús. Some are tornados desert and ice storms also. I had yo really learn to Trust GOD to be my shelter refuge and strength. Especially when no one else is around but GOD.

My uncle was given three months to live when I was just born. I’m now 16 and he’s still here. Praise the Lord!! I had heart surgery when I was three was told I’ll probably never play sports and have been playing softball for 11 years. Praise the Lord!!!!!!!

I listened to this song dozens of times as a teenager, thinking the melody was catchy and not thinking too deeply about the lyrics. I never knew how important the lyrics "he is with you in the ICU when the doctors don't know what to do and it scares you to your core" would become. I have laid in an ICU and asked doctors what's wrong and been told "we don't know", and it is absolutely terrifying. You feel lost, because the people who are supposed to be able to fix anything don't know where to start. It is very lonely. Faith is all you have. Thank you for the song.

I loved her voice. Sad to see she had so many struggles and passed away. I myself have always had a conflict with my faith when I see and feel first hand all the injustices in the world. So many evil people full of hatred and jealousy in their hearts. My sister has been strugglingwith mental issues and weight problems for years and this past year has been extremely difficult and challenging to say the least. And as her caretaker and full time employee at a company that discriminates I have fought many battles in my own head. But Mandisa's voice hid all her pain and gave me hope. REST IN PEACE.

It relieving to read this and my first going through her songs, in remembrance of her. She’s sorely missed on this side of planet earth but was welcomed home, with an open arms. She now behold the face of her Father, the one she sang about and dearly loved.
When I was going through physical therapy after my stroke to be able to walk again I would listen to Overcomer all the time on days I was on my own in physical therapy. When I had cancer and going through chemo this is one of the songs I listened to all the time to keep me going.

I heard this song twice on Love89 (East TN) today, and I had to get on UA-cam 2nite and find it to re-listen. I think it's one of the best songs for encouragement for daily living in our world that I've heard in a very very long time.
Some friends of mine say that "Tomorrow" from Annie makes them cheer up, but how can you compare that to the lyrics of "[God] is with you/when you've given up/on ever finding your true love/someone that feels like home/He is with you."
Oh wow! These word are powerful as they spoke to my heart, because I lost my mother two months ago and I hurt, cry, and feel empty on the inside, I find strength in knowing God is with me and through his loving grace and mighty power I am an overcomer.
