I was a bit apprehensive too at first. There are a lot of interesting combinations of plates and mounts and tools that you can use to create something really useful.
appreciate this video. trust me when i say there are very few videos at all approaching it like this. hard to get practical info when all there is are basic reviews
Your video is awesome and so helpful!!! Great quality. I have the Manfrotto 536 carbon fiber, and an Oconnor 50 from the '80s. Going to switch to Arca swiss on your excellent and well made video. Buying 2 from your links... Thank you very much!
Since this video was released, photographers worldwide have started calling the "screw wheel" a "knob". Hope this helps. On a more serious note, why are you mounting ARCA clamps on top of proprietary plates, instead of removing the proprietary clamps from the heads?
Only thing with arcaswiss is two hand operation .hold camera one hand and tighter up with other hand . Harder when hands cold . Manfrotto RC plate .one hand click camera in fine done .
*Quick Question:* _Are you currently using Arca-Swiss? Is this something that you've thought about before, or something you even knew existed?_
Thank Ray for this INFORMATIVE video.
Thank you, this video is exactly facing doubts I have had so far for updating my tripod to Arca Swiss.

Thanks for the manfrotto explanation, was just about to return my clamp until you showed the wheel coming off the back. Great idea
Same. I had the wheel on the side of my befree video head. Never thought about having the screw off the back. Simple but grea trick!
