42 - Pasture 5 Lantana removal 19.02.2022

Fun times on the tractor killing Lantana and slashing scrub in the new 5 pasture. We are developing another 30 acres of pasture to help give the herd enough grass to get through the winter.

Cutting Lantana does not remove it???

Your right but -It dies off if its slashed enough, I like to push it with the bucket it comes out easily, I only spray it with woody weed spray in the areas I cannot get the tractor to. Like gullies.

yeah its something you need to keep working on. I pull most of mine out with the bucket but those I slash, keep slashing and it eventually goes as the grasses take over

Yes i have just woody weed sprayed all the gullies and the pasture, while the lantana is gone all the seeds under the lantana now have sprung up in the sun and rain.
