If you watched Courage the Cowardly dog this Chevy reminds me of Eustace's pickup though his is a Ford Model AA/Autocar Dispatch/ZIS-5 fusion. Either way it's a great rig!
Marvel mystery oil in fuel helps lubricant everything especially on older engines Valvoline 30 wt in engine oil best i have a few older trucks myself awesome video thanks for posting
Just rescued a 50’s school bus it’s a Chevy 6700, i’m pretty sure it’s locked up. It’s a 6 V system. I’m not exactly sure how the starter works and has a foot pedal that connects something in the floor. I’ve got a full video on UA-cam of getting it out of the barn. My channel name is Holderboyz920
You were mentioning an alternator, that should be a 6 volt positive ground. And I think that is a 6 Volt starter because of how quickly it is turning over.

We have a ‘52 that was an old Navy truck that is Grey… I WOULD NEVER cut the bed off of this truck… it’s a classic farm truck. It should have the bed, unless you did it for shipping purposes….

@Ironcitygarage Well I'm 64 years old and got probably 200 or more old cars and tractor running with starter fluid and never had a problem. You don't spray the whole can in ...

Hmmm a garage with out a can of starter fluid ??? It's cheaper than a burnt up starter, just sayin

@Ironcitygarage why would they keep selling it if it just wipes the rings out lol
@@bobpoland6042 lookup what breaks down a piston ring. Just because they still run doesn’t mean you didn’t take life away from it.
@@bobpoland6042 the same reason McDonald’s keeps selling those artery cloggers. It’s cheap and fast, which still comes at a larger hidden cost
Stop cranking! It's not getting fuel.
