You should come experience it- especially in the summer and a warm day. They close part of the park to cars and it’s great to just ride around and grab coffee
There’s 4 different car parks- all are free. So it depends where you are driving in from but from each gate you have access to a car park and they aren’t hard to find. ✌🏻
I hired a Trek Emonda 12sp Di2 last time in Mallorca and really nice bike. I live way out in the sticks in Pembs which is lovely but I am envious of lack of clubs/hubs/group rides. Not sure I'd want to ride in London though but a middle ground be good. Regarding London Dynamos, I've read some reports that not welcoming, ultra competitive, crazy rules etc. I'll caveat by stating I have no way of knowing if true, just what I've read so might just be from some people who didn't fit in etc.
Such a shame about no bike racks. The cafes in the Park charge 50p for non dairy milk, an absolute con. I'll visit the LDBH when riding in Richmond Park, they don't charge.
Sure don't miss the Richmond Park Hamster Wheel days. Better than nothing, but that's London living. Got the Cotswolds on my doorstep now....I just need to get my ass off Zwift!
Address: Trek, On the Wandsworth Roundabout, Just over the Wandsworth Bridge, 2 mins from Wandsworth station. Haha I remember when they started building that whole area and called it Battersea Reach… to be fair, they are literally the last road before Wandsworth.
@ I know exactly what you mean. I’m in semi zwift mode atm but soon will be full zwift mode. Ive got my training for the Fred Whitton to keep me busy this winter ❄️
Aren't socks underwear? The clue is in the name surely. If you get any rain/spray on your tights it'll run down them and inside your socks. Personally, I think it looks like a little kid wearing white wellies, just my opinion though, everyone is entitled to their own
Ha I had this chat with a few guys today and asked them- they all said 5 yrs ago they would never wear them over, but not they do. They said it’s a Dutch thing
Hows about you time stamp your comment and ill describe to you how other cyclists are passing our group, which was two abreast. Charlie did a great job with the briefing and mentioned ride formation. Which was the whole point of the Regents video, where non of this was mentioned or even considered by the ride leaders. you can literally see Charley's hand singles though the whole video- look when shes pointing a single finger in the air for single file- (6:27) and because the mentioned it in the briefing, people are more likely to understand.
I ❤love how Trek supports the cycling community 😊
Nice. Good to see you visit the park. I’m lucky in living close by. And being retired, can enjoy it on quieter weekends days. Thanks for featuring.
Love these Richmond park lap videos . I’m going to travel down from Grimsby for one . The vibe is ace . Top video 🙌

I do like the design of that top of the range Madone, just breaths speed just by looking at it.
Thanks for coming down! Great video and hopefully get you on some gravel!
Pleasure man- not sure about the gravel ride but I’ll def give a Madone a run around
Great video. Which brand is the gilet?
Sportful. The green is pretty nice
Is there only one place to park at Richmond? Thinking of driving up from Portsmouth one morning to ride it?

Like from Trek Emonda rider 😄✌
Good old Richmond Park.
A classic, although they are doing their best with all those gates to put people off
@@thewattlife The Royal Parks are a fine beauty.
Got my rim brake Burl's titanium bike out for the winter now>
A titanium bike is on my Santa list for this tear
Finally you are riding a good bike! Did you show the TREK guys that it weighs less than the 12000 madone 😅??
07.15m Carb loading for a lap of Richmond park.
Carbs are life
@@thewattlife also death if you overdo it
Still don't understand if the hole in the Madone is just a gimmick or a real technical improvement
Perhaps… both?!?

I have a 2nd hand Demone and I LOVE her
I need to go test ride a few of their bikes- especially the Project One Madone 🥵

@thewattlife but we're not in Holland 😳. London hipsters for you eh 😉
Riding more than 2 abreast I see

Yup, the guy in the beige jersey and the girl I say hi to aren’t in our group. So they are overtaking our group ✌🏻
And ?
