Decent List! A couple of those almost made my 2024 list too. Swoop and Part Wallop. Both awesome! 2024 was a great year for Transformers especially crossovers.
An ok end of year list. Honorable Mention might go to Optimus Prime (all the Primes) we got a baker's dozen this year. The good news is its pretty easy to find one or two you might like. The down side is that after a while its hard to justify yet another OP when you have 3, 4 or even 5. I didn't have Party Wallop on my bingo card. True, TMNT has collabed and worked with pretty much everyone. So if they haven't done Transformers, it seemed unlikely they'd ever do it. Color me surprised. My list would include Gears and Vector Prime. And a special category for Bump of Chicken's music video. That was an impressive 40th retrospective.

New sub here! Great list! Cant Dinobots always belong on any top 5 Transformers list. Slag(Slug) is my favorite Dinobot. I haven’t collected many Transformers but I am looking forward to getting the Constructicons, and Cosmos this year. Keep up the great videos.

Nice selection of figures. I got Fort Max when it came out with the Titans Return line. I think it’s odd that Hasbro didn’t rerelease Metroplex, but I heard that they had gotten rid of the torso mold, so couldn’t rerelease it unless they made a brand new mold of the torso. Anyway, nice video!

I have all series of the line like HasLab, Masterpiece, Titans, Combiners, Siege, WFC, etc., except for Beast Wars and later variants that I just wasn’t interested in. In retrospect though, I should have just focused on Masterpiece, Titans, and Combiners but the collecting bug took hold with reckless abandon lol.

I don't shop for figures since I adopted a view of figures being over-priced, but the Turtle's cross over did have a certain eye catcher quality about it.
Ive always said if I didn't collect BNISB star wars lego sets that id be into transformers. As a completionist transformers would of been the cheaper option.
My top 5 that I bought in 2024.. (Not based on release date) 5) VNR optimus prime. 4) 40th anniversary optimus prime. 3) dead ratchet and brawn 2 pack. Just because dead autobot toys are weird and funny at the same time. 2) swoop 1) Agent Knight. Loves this guy.

@ Although in the G1 cartoon only Snarl and Swoop had swords, the original G1 Dinobots toys all had them so people complained so much that in the end, Hasbro broke down and deviated from the toon accuracy and gave us Grimlock’s sword with Swoop. For those that REALLY want a sword for their Slag and Sludge will have to get the comics deco Grimlock release which comes with swords for those two.

This year I got one Transformer that doesn't transform, but is one of my favorites because it looks so awesome... is the Flame Toys Kuru Kara Kuri Optimus Prime. I don't plan to get all those because they are too expensive, but Optimus is one of my favorite characters and I had to get it 😅😁
I agree with the first 4. Party Wagon was 100 times better than I ever would have imagined (it is built so solid, looks and feels great, has amazing accessory storage, great little gimmicks, and with just a little bit of sanding, everything tabs in perfectly) The KITT figure is just superb with the lights and sounds. Swoop and Snarl were both tremendous (all 5 of the Dinos are superb). I didn't go for the Fort Max reissue as I have just never liked the look of the character in the cartoon. I'd prefer a small version like in the Marvel comics. I will be getting the Trypticon reissue, though, especially as it's in animation accurate colours! It's very sexy. I'd put Missing Link Optimus on my list and the small Deluxe class Optimus that came out recently. But that would give me a top 6!
My top 5 that I got this year are..... #5 ss 86 swoop. #4 agent knight. #3 the reissue of xtransbots klaatu, #2 the reissue of mastermind creations rmx-01 jaguar. #1 fanstoys jive.
I couldn't do a channel like this because i generally dont buy that many transformers each year. I generally limit myself to masterpiece or 3rd party masterpiece figures. So i bought about five figures all year long, but each is between $100 and $200.
@jojo21327 I'd probably have more too. But then again my MMC defensor is going to cost me $600 in total once blades comes out. So it's probably good I do this self imposed limit. If you like dinobots, and you have a chance to pick up the gigapower dinobots, I highly recommend them. They are the definitive version I think. They are not cheap, but are they worth it.

I agree with the first 4. Party Wagon was 100 times better than I ever would have imagined (it is built so solid, looks and feels great, has amazing accessory storage, great little gimmicks, and with just a little bit of sanding, everything tabs in perfectly) The KITT figure is just superb with the lights and sounds. Swoop and Snarl were both tremendous (all 5 of the Dinos are superb). I didn't go for the Fort Max reissue as I have just never liked the look of the character in the cartoon. I'd prefer a small version like in the Marvel comics. I will be getting the Trypticon reissue, though, especially as it's in animation accurate colours! It's very sexy.
I'd put Missing Link Optimus on my list and the small Deluxe class Optimus that came out recently. But that would give me a top 6!
Yeah the Party Wagon definitely should not be kept in it's box. I did get the small Optimus but I haven't opened him yet.

I couldn't do a channel like this because i generally dont buy that many transformers each year. I generally limit myself to masterpiece or 3rd party masterpiece figures. So i bought about five figures all year long, but each is between $100 and $200.
If I had more space I would have more. My kids will inherit these one day. Lol
@jojo21327 I'd probably have more too. But then again my MMC defensor is going to cost me $600 in total once blades comes out. So it's probably good I do this self imposed limit.
If you like dinobots, and you have a chance to pick up the gigapower dinobots, I highly recommend them. They are the definitive version I think. They are not cheap, but are they worth it.
