There's good reasons they don't. Discussing gear is generally viewed as an endorsement; monetized channels typically only name the brands they are professionally associated with unless they are performing a review. Otherwise, the companies can often legally ask for a cut of profits just for mentioning the name - this is why so many smaller content creators cover up brand labels on merchandise in their videos. Consider the ensuing mess if they gave the specs on a rifle that is a custom build, using an action from Winchester, a barrel from Hart, a stock from Bell & Carlson, a scope from Burris, and a Timney trigger. Some companies don't care; others are exceptionally predatory.
