  • Everyday Life in Japan is like this. In this video I will show you what everyday life in Japan is like. This video just shows daily life in Japan at a station about 15 minutes outside of Osaka, Japan. If you're thinking about living in Japan or coming to Japan this video will give you an idea of what Japan looks like in the urban an suburban areas. Overall it's a pretty clean and organized country and you'll seeing unique things here in Japan that you wouldn't see in your own country.

Japanese here. I’m proud of my country. So peaceful,so convenient.
If you’re physically mentally healthy, you can get a job and spend a standard life.
But young people are working so hard to support old people and diving into train to commit suicide.

@Ken narvilleSorry, but I do not think cultural environment of Japan is that spooky... I am appointed to Tokyo for special daily tasks from the Chinese branch of a Japanese corporation for a few years. Before, I got criticized and even scolded loudly in public from one of my Chinese bosses because I was young and lack of experience, which made me feel unwilling to work with him anymore. While here my Japanese bosses are truly polite and educated, easy to discuss real business problems and solutions without any gesture of request or so-called business skills. If you make mistakes, people here will point them out in some gentle and indirect ways in order not to displease you, but the same things will turn to the contrary crazily brutal and annoying in China or S. Korea, involving more emotional factors. Rules maybe are relatively complicated here and remain some strange customs from the view of us foreigners, though. Foreigners also often blame Japanese people for stubbornness, poor oral English and habits like doing frequent comparisons between Japan and other countries. But hey, we are foreigners after all. For Japanese themselves, I feel pityful for guys jumping into the rail to suicide. If they had ever experienced foreign life deeply except travelling, they would have known how precious Japanese "礼儀正しい(courteous)" society is. So Japanese people with patriotism are reasonable. It saves them from potential unhealthy mental states.

•This place is kind of intermediate between city side and country side.
People and towns look very different depending on the places.
•As many people talk about, people in this video look like robot and don’t seem happy.
But actually once people arrive at their places, they start talking, telling jokes , making some fun with their friends and family. They are actually happy in their life:)

It's interesting that people thought we Japanese are depressed, cold or unhappy by just watching us walking. I know it's cultural difference. We normally don't interact with strangers or speak loud because it's not polite in public, especially in the morning. And I often read coments about Japan being the highest rank of sucide rate but it's not true. The first rank of sucide rate of 2018 is Sri Lanka and Japan was not ranked even in top 15 of the rank.
Edit: Wow I never thought people gave me this many Likes, thank you! I wrote the comment because I'm kinda sick of people saying like "Japan is a depressed country, nobody is happy" or "All Japanese are depressed workaholics with sucide wishes". Even though they have never been in Japan and only got information about us from the Internet. That's like all Americans have guns and would shoot them when they get mad at something/someone. So, if you think we look depressed, that's just we have a different culture, behave differently from you and please, don't always judge people with your culture's standards. 最後に、一個人が日本人代表みたいに勝手に色々言ってすいません。返信くれた日本の人ありがとうございます。

People find this depressing??? I think it's normal to not engage in conversations with strangers, whenever a stranger speaks to me, even if they are being nice and polite, they're making me a little uncomfortable, especially men. If they're asking for directions and such I don't mind it that much but randomly coming to people and act like you know them is pretty weird. I live in Austria and a few months ago I lived in the capital, Austria is a country with lots of people from different backgrounds especially in the capital, and most of them are SO loud. I'm not Austrian myself so what I'm saying is not meant to offend non-Austrains because Austrians are pretty loud themselves, but you don't see them in big groups being loud as much as others. I've now moved to a quieter area(the 2nd largest city but it's SO different) and let me tell you, it's SUCH a blessing. It's not as crowded anymore and I'm not as against going out anymore either, now I don't hear random people shouting or swearing or laughing loud af on the streets. Japan, especially in more quiet areas is such a dream, everyone minds their own business, it's quiet and just peaceful. I wish to be able to visit it in the future if I have the chance.

Until someone reasonably explains to me how these people can be understood, I will continue to call these people "bad"!

One thing I probably safe to show off is safety at nighttime.
So that means most of people here are trying to be quiet, I know Latins have huge passion and some people from cold weather country needs to drink at night.
But plz if you are visiting our country or someone planning to move, try to stay quiet at night. That’s my only request for you.

•provoke LGBT problem that was no problem before lefts start provoking
•keep spreading word “japan is over”

    Observations:
It doesn't look like it gets bellow freezing. They are wearing an awfull lot of clothes for being relatively mild temperatures.
Very orderly. both the people and the environment
Not very happy people. drone like
It appears to be "bike friendly" in the extreme. Low amount of car traffic, good roads and lanes for bikes, easy parking of bikes and safe from theft, many/most of them are commuter bikes with baskets for hauling groceries, etc., slow speeds and everyone being considerate of others, interesting to see few kids on bikes?
The architecture is mostly bland and uninspiring
Streets, electrical utility poles, drains/canals/ditches and other infrastructure all in good condition and well kept
The commuter trains are quiet due to continuous welded rail and appear to be immaculate
Monoculture with few if any non-Japanese
No one is constantly staring at their iPhone
No one looked particularly rushed or frazzled
Very clean and well kept overall, with individuals doing their share to keep things clean
food and mercantile is over-packaged, too much cellophane
I'm from Colorado so lack of blue skies and bright sunshine would make me depressed quickly
People look generally thin and healthy
everyone looks "middle-class"i.e. few poorly dress/kept and few overly ostentatious
No old cars or old bikes
