Cub: I fight you, Mum
Tiger: That's good dear, you need a bath
Such a magnificent creature and what a cute cub she’s got too
Majestic creature, the Amur tiger, and the cub is adorable.
Kittens are kittens no matter the species.
God took his time designing these magnificent animals for sure. So gorgeous
You mean natural selection

The 9 most powerful and biggest subspecies of tigers are
1. Siberian Tigers
2. Caspian Tigers
3. Bengal Tigers
4. Indo Chinese tigers
5. South China Tigers
6. Javanese Tigers
7. Sumatran Tigers
8. Malayan Tigers
9. Bali Tigers
I like Siberian Tigers in Summer actually less coat and fur it's strength and muscles can be visible actually
A Mother's love is quite evident and beautiful.
I want one for Christmas.
Please, cherish and love all animals, they are GOD'S presents to mankind.
adorable.
So cute
That's how mom fought back the hyper excited cub - licking!
Awww❤️❤️
I couldn't bear to see that little cat. Any kids are the same: Naughty and cute.😍
What a beautiful animal
What a world we live in ... you can only get to see these creatures in captivity these days ... whats left of them
Yes, and it's very sad :(
Congratulations to Toronto Zoo! A cub is so adorable as we recently found in the Mumbai Zoo. So happy we were that we did a small video feature for our channel. Tiger cubs are a must watch and especially when new-borns are difficult to observe in the wild, zoos provide a great opportunity. The Amur tiger and its cubs are even more difficult to find in the wild. We have visited the Indian forests of Tadoba, Bandhavgarh, Tekkady, Bandipur, Kabini, Corbett and others, but never sighted a small cub less than 3 months. We have, of course, seen several large Royal Bengal tigers in these regions and were lucky to film it for our channel. Real close encounters!
Awwwww mama with baby ... U can clearly see that love ... Mom's are just great ... No matter what the species ... And that one is a predator ... A real strong and a dangerous one ... In front of babies they act as if they are furballs
Your heart will be soothed! I was happy just by looking at it. A lovely tiger parent and child. Thank you❣️

Thank you for good words about this video
My top 3 most favorite animals on Earth in order: tiger -> snow leopard -> red panda.
A real beautiful tigress with cutest cub... And a purest form of love...motherly love ❤ shower...
..... mommy and baby are so very precious...it's nice just to watch animal enjoying motherhood without any bitterness or anger...just relaxed and have fun with her baby... greetings all the way from Singapore 🥰🥰🥰💞💕
Great merit in this is the zoo keepers and veterinarians, who managed to save the little tiger. Now Mazi can enjoy motherhood while taking care of Mila on her own.
Adorable creature!!!
adorable!!
Beautiful!!!! So adorable!!!!!
so precious
What a beautiful kitties both mom and cub 😍🥰
The soundtrack really matches the video. lol So cute..
thank you :)

I just wanna grab that kitten...hug it and kiss it.
My feeling exactly the same
The big one?

Me too. It's every time fun
I love tigers
SIEMPRE. DESDE QUE ERA UN NIÑO HASTA HOY.. QUE PEINO MUCHAS CANAS.. HE APRENDIDO MÁS DE LOS ANIMALES QUE DE LOS "HUMANOS".
We should not underestimate the educational role of zoos, which from childhood teach children to look at the world with wide open eyes and protect the nature around us.

Spooo relaxing!!! So beautiful. This video has become my relaxation and mood elevation of all beauty that carries . ♥️♥️♥️♥️

Congrats guys!Give baby some toys to play too, shed find in open nature lizards, small creatures lots..
How about some enrichment for this cub when she's indoors, sniffing at small pieces of bark seems sad?
❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you Jari
Сплошное очарование
@Vasilisa J, спасибо за комментарий. Маленькая Мила, действительно, очаровашка. Я раньше даже не представляла, что между тигрятами и их мамами может быть такая, почти человеческая, связь.

7 hours in that indoor enclosure is a bit tough no?
Don't only put the father and mom together just to breed let father be with his cubs
Mila was introduced to Vasili. But in a wild male tigers are not care about females and cubs. That's why Vasili lives and plays in different (inside and outside) part of the Amur tigers' pavilion.
@@larisakon8825 i suggest you watch a video tiger raise his 2 daughters in the wild once you see the video then come back and talk to me
@@falanajerido875 Mongabay News, India: "In tigers, it is usually the mother that provides parental care, teaching cubs to hunt, mark territories and survive. A male tiger caring for cubs is rare in tiger behavior."
@@larisakon8825 bruh male tiger cares and love his partner
@@jonathanman8299 That’s just not true. Yes in some rare instances male tigers will display interest in their cubs and even play some role in their upbringing but that is very uncommon behavior. The cub being only with the mother is what is most natural to tigers.
Our family used to go to the National Zoo in DC every summer. When I think back to those days in the hot DC summers and the animals in cages, pacing back and forth with so little room to move, it breaks my heart. These days zoos are so MUCH better!!! Now it's like the visitors are contained and the animals have freedom to roam!! How far we have come!
Agree. Small low-budget zoos cause sadness. But children and adults all over the world, even in the smallest and poorest regions of the planet, want and are always happy to see real animals collected from everywhere. If you are a city dweller, then you probably know how kids love meeting animals living on farms. City children have not seen other pets in their lives except cats and dogs. Seeing a chicken, a duckling, a goatling for them is a whole holiday and a sea of unforgettable impressions. The same is with visiting zoos, where thousands of representatives of the world of flora and fauna from various climatic zones are gathered. And to see them not in a picture or on TV is a great pleasure, which became available to both children and adults, in general, not so long ago.
Drop it drops
Is there a reason why predators have such big paws when they are still so young? I can imagine that there is not a big need to run away in that stage if you have a mother, who is that powerful. And they can balance out their body on four legs instead of two.
I beleive tiger cubs need big claws for tree climbing. Mila started climb on a tree at the outside playground at age of 3-4 months.
You can virtually enjoy this in newly released video "The Most Memorable Summer Moments at the Toronto Zoo 2021", start time = 1:24:43 min.
Some interesting facts about tigers' claws.
"Tigers have large padded feet that enable them to silently stalk prey in the Asian jungles. The claws of the tiger are up to 10 centimeters (4 in) in length and are used to grasp and hold onto prey. Each paw has four of these claws and one specialized claw called a dewclaw. A dewclaw is located farther back on the foot and thereby does not touch the ground when walking. Dewclaws function similarly to thumbs in that they are used for grasping prey and aid in climbing. Tiger claws are retractable in that ligaments hold them in a protective skin sheath when their not being used. The ligaments are in a relaxed position when the claws are retracted thereby expending no musculature effort. Tigers retract their claws to ensure that they remain sharp for times when they are needed and to tread silently up to unsuspecting prey. Other ligaments will extract the claws when attacking prey or defending themselves which does require musculature effort.
Tiger claws are curved which enables them to superiorly grasp and hold large prey and climb trees head-first. However, the claws' curvature, the tiger's size and weight is a great hindrance in climbing down from trees. Tigers must either crawl backwards or jump down from trees, making them the most inferior climbers of the big cat family."
How come only one cub ?
There were three cubs born. Two of them were sick and lived for only a few days. This situation is not rare for tigers living in a wild. Zoo keepers and veterinarians were on duty days and nights near the newborn tiger cubs and tried with all their might to save them. :(
@@larisakon8825 oh wow, what's the survival rate for cubs?
@@vintageb8 According studies, there is a 50 to 70% chance that tiger cubs can survive and reach adulthood. However, tiger cubs cannot survive without their mother until they reach 18-24 months old, after that they will separate from their mother and start finding their own territories.
Tiger mom so happy cause will be not alone for a while....can u imagine...live in the cage. I wish they took the tiger going out to see n smeel fresh grass😁
You've obviously never been to the Toronto Zoo.
Come and see Toronto Zoo. You will never again say that animals here live like in prison. Especially when you compare with a much smaller zoos in many other countries, where tough life in a tight cages is definitely the case.
It’s actually the females who have testicles in the tiger kingdom, I learned that on BBC documentary
Мама с помощью одного языка одержала победу над этим свирепым воином) 😆
They're such a beautiful animals. I'm curious why don't you have their den made of hate something software them to lay on or even grass for them to lay on that floor looks hard and uncomfortable. Just curious
I'm thinking that this is just one of the viewing areas, not where they live...hopefully.
@@ruralhappy2835 Yes, it's a special indoor pavilion for baby tiger. There are additional indoor pavilion for male tiger Vasili, and two big outdoor pavilions respectively.
Werent you listening to the keeper explain why they are in there. I just dont understand why people dont listen
The main danger to the survival of tigers, as a species, is human induced habitat degradation by the clearing of forests and poaching.
Yes, and this is a global problem. It can be solved in two main ways:
1. By making the decisions at a high political and business level.
2. By increasing the educational level of the population.
Zoos are just those organizations that, through exhibiting animals and educational programs for kids and adults, bring information to the general public about how important it is to protect nature.
Toronto is one of the North American leading organizations for the conservation and reproduction of endangered, special care and uprooted animals and plants.
In the recently released video “Summer's Most Memorable Moments at the Toronto Zoo 2021”, you can see a group of kids from the Toronto Zoo Summer Camp, Start Time=4:30 min. They are participants of the zoo entertaining and educational program, where kids not only walk around the zoo and observe animals, but also receive a lot of interesting and useful information about them.
Under 1 Kg ? I thought they were heavier at birth
As cute as this is it saddens me to see these beautiful creatures in captivity.
I’ve a Bengal cat and it is totally impossible to keep him indoors.
Cats big or small need to roam free.
Lukin at the video I conclude humans r PURE SCOUNDRELS OF INFINITE MAGNITUDE THESE DAYS
Yea, too bad you guys weren’t around when T Rex became extinct. Cavemen didn’t watch emissions. Lol. Right.
Floor looks very uncomfortable and confined
If you look on tigers' behavior, it doesn't look like they feel uncomfortable. Floor is OK. I think the Toronto Zoo build animal pavilions according to international standards.
@@larisakon8825 The viewing area shown has a floor. The large part of their enclosure is outside and has gta, wood, trees, rocks and dirt and replicate their natural environment.
@@anthonyg2554 Agree. It's absolutely beautiful space that replicate Amur Tiger habitats.
@@larisakon8825 and why does the child have no toys (except for a log and mom)? they live in civilization, they are not planned to be released into nature, why not let them enjoy the benefits of civilization in this case? it's boring there for development
@@larisakon8825 tigers travel more than any apex predator. They shouldnt be in any enclosure. International standards? Thats laughable.
why are you staying in mask in front of camera?
COVID-19 pandemic still in progress. Masks near animals mandatory zoo rule is still in effect too.
Please release them into the wild. You shouldn't mistreat animals. You will be punished if you do this
For those of you who are stupid animals temperature is 20 times hotter than us, if pay attention she probably panting
Cold floor is cool
My cat and pet dog would try to find a cool place in the kitchen floor to lay on.
Twenty times you say? Well lets work that out.
20x98=1960 farenheit
20x36=720 celsius
Gold melts at 1,095 F 1,063 C
Can we work on your grammar and syntax next week? Careful who you call stupid.
Amur use to be in a wild why she in the zoo now?
Only about 500 Amur tigers remained in the wild. Currently, the largest zoos in the world are breeding them in order to restore the population. UA-cam provide a lot of videos with Amur tigers cubs borne at the zoos in some last years.
because they will be killed in the wild. Was that so hard to figure out?
The main threats to the survival of the Amur tiger are poaching, habitat loss, and illegal hunting of ungulates, which are tigers' main prey.
Don't sale there cubs please do right by them
The Toronto Zoo doesn't do that.
@@danzig159 i hope not
I hope you don't Release this beautiful Girl and Cub back into the Wild ,
Torontonians are definitely love Mazi and her little Mila, and for sure nobody wants to say "Good buy" to them. They give us so much fun. Every single minute when the zoo is open, u may see a lot of kids with parents near Amur tigers' pavilion.
captive born cats can never be released to the wild, they don't have the skills to hunt and there is no place for them in the wild without displacing a wild-born cat
@@Lithaldatwin Over the past decades, when the problem of animal extinction began to be seriously addressed at the global level, the world's leading zoos have developed special techniques for teaching captive animals how to survive in the wild. And therefore, the practice of returning them to their natural habitat is not unusual or a violation of animals' freedom.

@Darth If you don't like music, it's your choice. Just watch video without it :)
@@larisakon8825 I prefer the sound of the animals so no.....
@@LordofDarknessX Agree, even the best music can't replace the living sound of nature. Unfortunately, in this particular video it wasn't possible to attach a real animal sounds, because the footage was done through indoor pavilion window. It's not an open outdoor space. So no sound at all :) In my opinion, video without any sound is VERY boring.
