Imagine making countless hours of content about how microtransactions have destroyed your beloved genre and then when a game holds no P2W as one of their core tenants you tear it down. At the very least, there has to be love for that one part - even if its not a game you plan to play/try/enjoy. I'm enjoying pantheon so far, even with the crazy journey that game development is. Its honestly fun to play through as it evolves.

Most gamers: I hate pay-to-win games from passionless mega-corporations. Also most gamers: I want indie games to succeed but I won't spend a nickel to support them until the game had been completely finished.
Someone with enough time and ambition could make a really good compilation video of all the doom and gloom videos declaring that is Pantheon dead over the past couple years.
I've got a feeling you and I have a lot in common in terms of gaming experience. My first true MMO was Neverwinter Nights...on AOL. Also played a bunch of MUD's in the 90's (like MajorMUD and many many others), Meridian59, Everquest, Asheron's Call, and basically every MMO since. I've been forever on the search for an MMO to bring back the social and cooperative experience of Everquest and nothing has come close. Glad to see Pantheon getting some more attention. I do hope it does well or at least gets a decent core playerbase. Probably will be filled with people who grew up gaming in the 90's. :)

This is the guy who could spend hours ranting about World of Warcraft's "death" while still playing it like he’s stuck in an abusive relationship he refuses to leave. Truly inspirational. His streams are a masterclass in multitasking: tearing apart the latest MMO flop, dodging roommate jokes, and skillfully ignoring basic hygiene-all while his chat throws money at him like he’s the gaming equivalent of a Vegas slot machine. And let’s not forget his unwavering dedication to pointing out gaming industry greed, a stance made even more authentic as he cashes in on his merch sales and UA-cam ad revenue. Hey, a man’s gotta eat (more microwaved noodles).
