For me I use both, keyframes normally, and 35 frame stop motion for combat, it just gives it that smooth spiderverse astetic
Try doing lower fps keyframe in fights too. It’s way easier to blend the fps like that.
My most preferred one is 12 fps. It is fast but uses less frames and easier

What impresses me more,is that he animates both of the characters with a stop motion and keyframe uses. the red guy is stop motion,and the dude in black is key frame,and he uses both of the animating apps on them which is sick👏🏻

Tbh both the animation styles are good but i prever stop motion because of the amount of effort you put in and it makes me feel proud of myself 🙂

@@ardentt Which one? If you're talking about stop motion you don't need one you just need to take pictures and move your character, if you're talking about keyframe there's a lot of options like blender or moon animator
@@Youraverageplayer69 dude you know you can change the fps on moon animator and blender animations to make it stop motion but easier i think cutting corners and still making a good animation is great i dont really get why you want to break your back when you dont have to when it comes to animating in roblox studio.

Theres something satisfying about watching stop motion. That every frame was deliberately and perfectly chosen.

The real answer is what you like to make.
Keyframe, stop-motion is still a decent animation style its just that i like stuff that takes long to do.

stop-motion : less complicated and not smooth.

truth: both are good sources of animating. personally, i'd pick stop motion. it's easier and keeps the ROBLOX theme. keyframe is also very cool, it looks better sometimes yet it's harder and looks more realistic.
Keyframe: can have smooth animation, and can remove mistakes.
Stop motion: cqn have smooth animation, and more dinamic movement.

Since Moon Suite V2 came out this year, it's been much easier to animate. That's why the animation community is getting much better.

Stop Motion Animator: Takes many blade slices
Keyframe Animator: Dies from two gun shots
Guess that means Stop motion is more durable
One is for carton stile animations , the other is for more serious stuff , they both are good
Keyframe is smoother but requires some time to get used to and you got to be a massive pro and prob take some education for it but youtube and google is always there, stop motion is for beginners and newbies but are ok with staying up late and are good at posing. Also I can see a few other animators in the background which is kinda cool.
Keyframe: SFM
Stop Motion: G-Mod

honestly, stop motion is better when you know how to put a buncha images together to turn them into a video and keyframe when you are more experienced with moon animator.
