Great vedio, highly recommend to wear a full face helmet and bright clothes it could save your life if you go down. Also must be aware many roads are just concret slab type roads and can be real slippery wet or dry. I road a couple of Russi's there they were all garbage Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki or Kawasaki way to go if your staying there spend the extra money you get what you pay for. 😊
Question: any idea price was for Tmax? Thank you for flashing all the dollar prices and the work to make this video. Tmax i could ride on freeway up to bagio?
i found a price of 779,000php or $13,740usd 👍 yes you could take the TMax on any roads here 👍 562 cc i also see a TMax SX 530 listed for 649,000/$11,445
like the bike pricing part. I'm gonna get a bike once I get to the philippines next year, but buying a new one has one big problem.... can't ride them until you get the registration, which takes about 2 months. buying a used one, you can ride it the same day, but its a gamble on getting a good used one like you said.
Did they change the rules for new bikes ? Both of my bikes were new and I rode with interim rego awaiting number plates. Had to carry the paper work every time though.
I've been riding a Honda Rebel 500 the past 10 months in preparation going to the Philippines, May 2024. I know there's lots of scooters there and small CC bikes, but if I can get used to a mid size bike, then a small one should be a piece of cake.
at 5000 km i had all fluids changed 👍 engine and gear, ive changed out the shocks for a better ride and will be doing filters plugs and check brakes tires soon 😃 maybe change out windshield and side mirrors and add some more lights and a different horn
Dirt bikes probably better in the province mud mountain roads. Thanks for the video Is there a time of year they have sales? Like when the newer models come in?
ive never seen sales advertised but i wouldnt be surprised with promos or mark downs at new release times 👍 some friends have dirt bikes so they can drive out towards the mountain areas and have some real fun in addition to it being their daily ride 👍😁
Never rode a bike but it seems like the best way to get around over there. Think I will just have to be stuck in traffic with a car. What is your opinion on cars. Something smaller like you have or a SUV or truck?
small car is ok but clearance would be nice like a small SUV or truck 👍 traffic can be managed once you know how to avoid the real problem times and areas
You should upgrade to an Xmax or Tmax Chubs...its so much more comfortable and speedy as compared to the Nmax. I personally own a Xmax. Awesome bike! Great for both daily rides and touring. A whole load of storage space as well. You can store 2 helmets and a raincoat under the seat. If you have an additional box, that can be used to store luggage. All set for a trip around the Philippines! 😊👍
I’m thinking about the ADV what’s your opinion on the bike? And it comes in red black and white what color stands out to you ? I like the red in a pic but not sure in person until I get there or white one hmm lol
i also like the red and im a huge fan of the white 👍 black is always too hot 😳 ADV for the minimal increase is a more comfortable ride storage and features 😁
yes to buy and use for yourself foreigners need an ACR card and if your staying here longer then 90 days you need to acquire a Philippines DL to drive after that 👍
Don't they tell you that when having driverlessons in The States to avoid white stripes and the iron lits from the sewers ? It is one of the first things they tell you in The Netherlands when having drivers lessons. Having said that, good you didn't crash.
oh yes, in fact my first safety lessons were on a snow covered parking lot 😳 the tourists who come over here rent and ride but dont ride back where they come from, those are the ones that need some pointers 👍
RUSSI have shops everywhere - BUT, I tried one, and it literally just started to fall apart. Switchgear is rubbish. Had to carry tools and tighten everything before riding anywhere. The engine did keep running though. Kinda annoying when the girlfriend hops on the back and the rear footpeg had fallen off. I think I needed to strip the entire bike and locktight everything, but I just sold it and bought a small Yamaha FZ1 instead. The Yami was just great.
Hey Chubs, what do you call a laughing motorcycle?.....……...................................................a Yamahahaha. Thank you very much, I'm here all week 😂
I wanted to see the prices on the scooters, but You went through them so fast, it was no use to Me. I am not a motorcycle man, I am a Car enthusiast. But was looking to trying out a automatic scooter, but You didn’t help Me. Maybe next time You will consider the novice like me. Thanks
it would be a four hour video if i did that, it was meant to give a quick reference to models use and prices. you can research all you need on line, prices engine size weight etc is all there, try that if you need a slower more in depth look
@scottmeikle9607 yes it would 😳 i see some nice Ducati roll by now and then, that deep throaty sound is ear candy; the run to Subic or Baquio would be a lot of fun on your Z1000 or any Monster 😎
lol i was hoping theyd have all the prices available 😳 and i didnt want to tie up a sales man too long.. the info can be found on line dealerships per brand Philippines 👍
Thanks!
thank you very much 🫶
*Thx4share interesting content with competively priced bikes.Shout out to Mr OG Adrian and beautiful Ms Anne n, ChubsDubC* 🐓👍

Chad I enjoyed today video I am thinking soon to buy a scooter now that I have lost the weight I wanted . hehe
good choice 👍 and congrats on the weight loss 👏😁

Nice video Chubs. I like the ADV but the NMAX is growing on me.
both are very nice 👍 cant go wrong with either one
@@chubsDubCyou said Tmax is 400cc so can I ride on freeway? Thanks

@@chubsDubC yikes that's steep jump where it showed yamaha 150cc for $2500. Thank you again good video.
I agree with you. Buying new is the only way to go and Japanese brands are worth the extra money compared to any of the China bikes.
👍 absolutely 😁
24:00 I say No honey More money hahaha 🤣✌️

yes true 👍 a friend just bought a new Yamaha Aero X and is going thru the registration process 😳
maintenance is rather inexpensive which is helpful 👍
Did they change the rules for new bikes ? Both of my bikes were new and I rode with interim rego awaiting number plates. Had to carry the paper work every time though.
@JonS441 i havent experienced it but will ask the friend who mimic’d the gotta wait 👍

absolutely 👍 i hadnt ridden in 10 years before coming here so it took me a month or so to get comfortable again 😳😃
What kind of maintenance do you do on your bike. Like oil changes. brakes etc..

how about showing Kymco or Bristol or Qjfortress 400
Do you need to apply for a filipino drivers license when buying one of these? What about insurance, how does that work?
yes to buy and use for yourself foreigners need an ACR card and if your staying here longer then 90 days you need to acquire a Philippines DL to drive after that 👍
Hey chubs and Ann shout out to Adrain and Philip

Was hoping for the price on the enduro 🥺😂
its about $2600 or 147,900php for the 150cc range

Mayroon po promo Ang N250?
Nakita ko po kasi nagkaroon Ng promo sa n250
not sure 🤔

Nice tour - Thank-you. In our province - Honda rules ...
Honda is the way to go here 👍
we’re looking at the TMX 175 😃
Pricing on bikes is reasonable there.
yes it is 👍 😁
Haven’t seen Danny in a while

some prices 8-10 15 k dollars to most phils are a ferrari dealership to average americans as in no way.

Remember I have the Z1000
nothing close i knew about 👍 San Fernando down the road has a Dealership

Buy a new Russi 175cc cash and a custom made side car brand new 15-20k or buy a used side car 3k - 5k+
Most definitely Honda is better than Russi
yes the research has begun 😃
Thanks but ya skipped the price on the on rd off rd that I want hahahahaha.
