The Fauna of Primal: Season 1

- From terrifying Tyrannosaurus to Yeti-like monkey men, and everything in between, this is the Fauna of Primal.
This video covers all major characters, animals, and otherwise alive creatures from the first season of Genndy Tartakovsky's 'Primal'.
I do not own any characters, clips, or artwork from this video. They belong to the copyright holders.
This video was made to celebrate the 1 Year anniversary of this channel. It's been a fantastic journey so far, and I'm excited to see what the future holds. Thank you all so much for being alongside me for it.
You all mean the world to me.
Thank you,
-Omar, The DinoFax
Night Feeder is definitely some sort of paranormal/supernatural creature given how abnormally powerful it is, regardless I still find the argentinosaurus more horrifying because of how disturbing it is that such a once beautiful, gentle slow creature could become a blood-thirsty monster, being controlled by the virus against its will, in a never ending state of excruciating pain as it's massive body slowly rots and withers away, staying alive up until it completely decays and it's nothing more than a pile of rotten flesh, blood and bone.
Something tells me that the black substance that covers it's body also mutated its physicality
@@shadowslime3640most likely considering how unnatural it is
@@zachtrisler8365 yep. Like goddamn it straight up dissected that ceratopsian
@@shadowslime3640 and rip a frickin tree in two
@@shadowslime3640 also those three horned dinosaurs, can’t remember there name lol
Man so excited for this, Primal is one of those shows that'll be looked back on with more appreciation than it's time I think.
fr
I am always left wanting with this show
Primal is literally what i tought how prehistoric times looked as a child.
Same. I thought the cavemen hid in caves during the KT extinction.
Yeah Idk either
I love The Night Feeder episode. The only thing I wish that was different was that it would be confirmed the oily goo was the same the Ape Men used, and once Fang got it on her face it would infect her and she’d change to be powerful enough to fight the Night Feeder. Spear would struggle to aim at it as it fights Fang, but he lands a blow and he watches it burn. Fang, not quite as infected as the Night Feeder, would exhaust herself and collapse, only to change back by morning.
It not season 1 tho
The largest Horned Tyrannosaur was likely the parent of the rest of the pack, and went after Spear and Fang's families as soft targets for hunting practice like when big cats bring live prey for their cubs.
Or worse the largest horned tyrannosaur got so big because, like a big bully, it focused on hunting/eating mostly small and soft targets, as they would be easier to hunt, and therefore less energy required for a decent enough meal, then again that’s not much of a certainty as a large predator would normally require a vast amount of food
Makes sense
About the tooth. Yes it could make her more deadly as the bite force is concentrated on the tooth. However it would also likely lead to her premature death and would have increased tooth decay. It would have also been very painful to bite down as the tooth’s would penetrate or scar the upper jaw. Here in Bristol museum we have a pliosaur which had a displaced jaw in life, it meant that its upper jaw was biting into its lower jaw likely causing its death.
I’m so happy my father introduced me to this series, such a work of art ❤
Everyone gangsta until the Night Feeder pulls up.
Great video, but I gotta point out that at 5:03 saying that snake was "easily twice the length of Fang" is a incredible understatement, the thing was several times her size as seen in the later here 5:23
Primal has always been one of my favourite shows, followed closely by primeval. Somehow I’d prefer if both were more paleo accurate even though my taste seems to suggest otherwise
Honestly, at this point primal is just the ark the animated series we never knew we had.
@@Lagonbreezeyreal
No way someone who knows what primeval is?
@@youdontknowme9184 indeed!
This made me remember the good times. Thank you Dinofax
An amazing series, really can’t wait for what they're going to show in season 3
RIGHT!!!!
The night feeder was terrifying but atleast it was beatable
There is no beating the plague of madness our duo honestly lucked tf out with that one! Imagine if there was no volcano...
dude i love your narration
Could you do a season 2 review as well?
I would like that as well.
For me the Mammoth is one of the saddest battles in the whole show. It's a tragedy till the end.
16:49 I found out that these tiny pterosaurs are called Tupuxuara. Oh, yeah, and I think that Primal did have a Chalicotherium, but I think the scene got cut from the show, unfortunately.....
Awesome video! Season one's world building was awesome! And my favorite of the two seasons so far
Night Feeder and Liopleurodon will always be my favorite
This is gonna be great. Too bad i cant catch it live.
I love the nightfeeder and zombie sauropod
I wish there were more seasons
There's actually a s3 teaser from adult swim
@@jrexon2001 ooooooo
Season 3 of PRIMAL started production on June 16th earlier this year.
One of my favorite shows
I can't wait for or a video about the second season of Primal to come out on this channel I'll really love to see how that would go
a masterpiece
I hate it when people say that primal is just a little kids show
And I’m like just cause something animated and has dinosaurs and it does not mean that it’s a kids show. It’s a very very violent show and there is a lot of blood and gore.
So unless your kids are very tough this is not the kind of show you want them to watch!
I believe primal to be in a future of sorts when animals evolved back into existence of sorts and the animals existing now became something far more better.
I remember when I used to watch this I really loved the infected Argentinasaurous
I'm legit hyped for whenever you get to the fire demon/Viking Chief from season 2.
The Night Feeder is 100% that Compy, there is even a shot to show that it's a full moon like on the night with the ape men
Hi new creatures to scare young children under the age of six 😁
“Look charlieeee!! It’s a magical liopleurodon!!”
am I crazy or have I seen this video before???
I swear he had another video just like this as well
Fantastic my friend.
i like these longer video
keep it up
Cant wait for the fauna of season 2
The prehistoric world untamed
🦖 Don’t worry you primal fans season three is coming out soon i hope it is good 👍🏻
Source?
Actually?
Looking forward to the season 2 episode aswell. Because Palaeoloxodon
Didnt you already have a video like this?
Bro i havent seen primal in forever! I havent seen a new episode from them since the last episode of season 2 (which was a questionable ending)
I think fang is a Dasp she does have a rather boxy head for a T. rex and she’s closer to a daspletosaurus in size than a rex
Ah another video on my favourite show made by my favourite dinosaur fact youtuber
This got me rolling-💀💀 imagine he joins the BBC EARTH in this
nice
I have always thinked that Fang is a Tarbosaurus because of her size, she is a tyranossaurid, but is too small to be a T-rex
Good catch. You rock!
I like that you kept the Tiktok notification in 😂
TikTok notification? That was one of the animals being covered, silly
@@PaperClipping7412 🐸
That's a good thumbmail
I wanna see more of the smilodon and probably a carnosaurus
That is not a Theropod, but a basal ornithischian. 17:27
primal is a great movie
Guuuys... I've been rewatching Samurai Jack the last few days and... I think that the Black Tar could actually be Aku before he was freed
Impressive 😂😂
Primal is basically Robert E Howard's Conan (or a Neanderthal ancestor) living in Edgar Rice Burroughs's Pellucidar. The name "Spear and Fang" is the title of an R E Howard story...I know Gendy knows that.
Maybe I'm crazy but I swear this video was already put out. I love the video regardless but I'm getting major dejevue.
Spear is such a tanker
The ape man's black elixir is the thing on top of it. But I think it's a quantumequal me that that eight or got covered in that Black elixir stuff
I mean... we did saw the sabertooth massacre Spear's father
That was season 2, this video covers season 1.
Hi
Didn’t you upload this already
Oh yeah
2:10 probably because spear is just massive
Primal is full of monsters
Yo shoutout to lolurm@d for liking my video.
17th person here
Maybe Fang is a Gorgosaurus due to her shorter size? They were the shortest of the north american Tyrannosaurs
Can you do every animal from primal part two or from season two
Who wants the fauna of primal season 2
The night feeder is kind of like the Indo raptor except on a whole Nother level of strength
Let go
I think fang is a daspletosaurus, I think they name her T. rex just because… you know, two finger dinosaur
Can you do a short or video about Pickle From Baki?
Second
The small pterosaurs are some kind of dsungaripterids, not tapejarids.
Will the the fauna of primal season 2 video coming up next?
Season 3 of PRIMAL is in production.
How? It's just Mira and her daughter left, there isn't much more to cover
Production for Season 3 began in June.
Will you talk about kyoryu the new dinosaur series when it comes out.
Fang is a dasp
mega jaws
17:29 Did anybody notice that he got a TikTok notification?
Hey. Didn’t you already make a video about the Fauna of Primal? What’s going on?
Can you make a video on the fauna of primal: season 2
😎
Hi I’m a Dino 🦖
How did you survive the extinction

Season 2 when?
🥉
The giant war elephants
I think Alpha horned T-rex is around the same size as Blue whale, rainbow squid (the future is wild), and the biggest estimate of Big Jet (Little Einsteins).
Ah, Little Einsteins… That gives me nostalgia.
All fun and games until the 80 ton Argentinosaurus starts looking pale with flu symptoms.
bro that tik tok notification got me like 💀
What streaming service offers this show?
I think the Horned Tyrannosaurs are supposed to be some kinda Ceratosaurs...
Music name in the beginning?
I swear I've seen this before. I remember your homo erectus joke, and it played at exactly where I remembered. Is this a reupload?
Part 2
Why the repost?
10:30 its chemical X
Fang is not smaller than a normal T. rex, it just looks small because most rexes in media are very oversized
