You should lead with a different pokemon so that you can swap into Lucario right as the battle starts and get some extra time.

Facts
I always wait until the Giovanni mon is weather boosted, since Niantic thinks it’s okay to give us garbage IVs on non tradable mon we’re only going to get one of.
Giovanni’s Pokémon have a 6/6/6 floor (like the shadow raids) so the weather boost only affects the lvl you’d get so instead on a lvl 8 shadow you’d get a lvl 13. However ivs would be the same
The IVs were 6/6/6 anyway, so weather boost doesn't matter
Weather boost doesn't matter actually - cause iv floor is 6/6/6 for shadow legends

Bro i got my first regirock and it was from geovani and his hp and df are maxed and ateck is almost over 3rd line and it was 986 cp when i captured it

Scyther is a really good first Pokémon too. Even though it’s not a fighting type you can get to those charged attacks pretty quick

for the longest time on the lower levels, all we had were dragonite, ursaluna and beware (and kicked his butt every time until we got coballion, he is great on my hubby's account). The best part is we didn't know any better and we kicked him to the curb everytime!!!

Rockets in Pokémon Go are too easy to defeat when you reach a high level. I wish the difficulty would increase as your player level increases. Maybe also give a slightly better reward too for the extra effort. (Double stardust at level 40+ or some extra berries).
All rocket grunts can be taken down with a single Pokémon. Giovanni requires no more than 2 Pokémon.
My lineup for giovanni is - garchomp, glaceon, mega sceptile..ezzz win because those are the fastest ones so once he uses all his sheilds you will take down all of em in seconds
My Strat was use a Pokémon with a really fast fast attack so I could drain shields

If Persian destroys fighting types, it's very likely running Scratch. In that case, Aggron can tank it surprisingly well, or if you have it you can bait shields using Giratina

It's not exactly the same mechanics, but having the pvp knowledge gives an unvaluable advantage for sure
A Pokémon that I think is better for this if you can’t get your hands on Lucario would be scrfty I did it with a 1900 two star and a Gyarados and my scrfty took down both of his Pokémon, and his groudon to have HP and didn’t even die. I just walked him out for Gerardo so that I didn’t have to use a revive.

The middle mon isn’t always gonna be rhyperior and same for the legendary, the legendary changes every so often but it’s guaranteed to be something, and lead is always Persian, but middle stage won’t always be rhyperior
