it actually makes me sad to hear that in other regions this game is dead or barely playable with queue times. I would have thought that statistically in such large regions you would find similar amounts of people who would still play.
I know what blizz has done to hots but it is still a game that i have fond memories of and it is certainly still enjoying. Personally, I still play because you feel there is something in there, you feel that there is a little gem or hidden potential just waiting to get the love and care it needs.
Maybe after the MS merge they revive this and put it on gamepass. Maxium copium

Obviously, it's just when the balance of power started to turn, but it did really feel like the game never recovered from the dishonorable 2v1 in top lane.

By the way, I'll continue to upload HOTS here and also am going to be starting to upload other gaming content on this channel, as I don't currently play enough HOTS to keep the chan going by itself, but will be able to combine DOTA2+HOTS+other games to make it run. NA queues seem to get bad around diamond and higher. plat isnt too bad within like 4min at normal times. high diamond-masters can be like 25min lol, then gm is a nightmare after first 3 weeks of season.
i find that sad to hear. I am kind of break now but it would suck to get back into a game and just see a void.
Reminds me of how I was into CnC and the chat and lobbies were thriving and full and people chatting a lot. But now when u go there, it is one big void. All lobbies are empty. Such ghost games just hit me hard
@@strateeg32 i mean most of the player base is lower than that and the queues are fine like i said except top ranks, blizz can easily adjust to have more rainbow games higher rank n easily fix it NA still has plenty of players, also qm still healthy and also ARAM is never longer then a 20sec queue at ANY hour of the day/night
HoTS is harder to carry for sure
W got buffed and then nerfed massively. You go AA build if you have good carry and well.. need AA because enemy potentially having spellshields. Late game Q build turns you more or less into a mage. Its massive. I prefer Q build over all other

I hope one day blizzard make a real dota. I didnt like this game. ıt was a bit fun at the beginning but there are lots of annoying heroes in the game now.
Can't disagree more. What's the point? Just play Dota. Hots is its own thing and if we ever get blizzards attention again I need it to be to their unique game
@@Dehalove There are reasons why dota 1 was so successful and why hots was not. I would prefer to play blizzard made dota 2 rather than its clones.
