- Hawthorn performs live at the historic Stevens-Coolidge Place in North Andover, MA, for a Front Row Boston socially-distant session.
The Boston-based duo, comprised of Heather Scott and Taylor Holland, is quickly gaining national recognition for their powerful harmonies, warm guitar, and old-time banjo. Their critically-acclaimed LP Maggie Willow was named a top album of 2019 by both WBUR and Sound of Boston. Scott and Holland have also been nominated for many awards, including "Folk Artist of the Year" for the 2020 Boston Music Awards.

The purity of their sound. Straight to and from the heart. Authentic. Cousin Giddens must share with them
I love the powerful dynamic between them - awesome music, talent, and emotion!
Wonderful voices ❤
Heaven, just heaven thanks!
Tight vocal harmonies, that high and lonesome sound, creative exploration and great songwriting - what more could one ask for?
I have heard you sing this magnificent song on PBS in recent weeks, and am so glad to find you here so I can hear it whenever I'd like! I love your tight harmonies and this arrangement in particular. Am hopeful that I can hear you in person someday, after this horrid pandemic lets us all be normal again. Love your very unique sound!
