I’ve struggled with this in my dancing for so long! I’ve started to really become serious about my dancing again and your channel/advice has helped me immensely!!❤
me waiting for you to finish the "embarrassed" self belief train of thought cause its exactly like mine and i thought you were about to get to the root of my confidence issues LOL but on a serious note thank you so much for your vids they r SO helpful
I’m 33 and properly started ballet this year, there is a huge sense of frustration that you cannot be at a higher level but at the end of the day I have the dream of becoming a teacher and with crap loads of hard work it will come. The getting demotivated is real though that you feel you are not moving forward
I’ve been dancing for 3 years now and I feel like now more than recently my confidence in dance has not been the best. I still struggle with picking up choreography right away I’m def a lot better than when I first started but I’m still not as good as my peers and that inevitably bothers me bc I want to already be just as good if not better but all it takes is consistency and time and I’m so impatient I just want to be the best now! Lol
Useful, but heavy topic at times! It helps immensely when we resist the urge to compare ourselves to others. ☺️ Oh, and please make more dance tutorials when you get the opportunity. ❤️
thank you so much for this video. Confidence is something I have been struggling with both as a singer and a dancer and in life. These tips are really helpful tips. The feed back I always get is to be more confident but no ever says how to be more confident .Defiantly gotta watch the video again and start diving into my confidence journey.
Girl I just love your videos! All of it is so helpful. I would like your input on something, I'm 26 and I started dancing 2 years ago. I study musical theater so dancing is a big part of it and I've been working hard on technic, streignth and flexibility. One of the things that makes me insecure is the rigidness of my movement. At times when I'm doing a coreo looks a bit stiff and that sometimes puls me back. Do you have any tips on how to work on that? Thank you so much 💛
Maybe you can try taking some contemporary/lyrical and ballet classes to keep working on more fluid movements! That way it starts to feel more natural :)

The comparing is so real and so challenging. Thanks for speaking to this 🤎 I specifically struggle with comparing to other adult beginners.

This resonates with me so deeply, I hope both of us are able to grow our confidence and fall in love with the process of getting better!
