BRO!!! Primus would be foolish NOT to pick you!! You’re phenomenal. I hope you get this…ALLLLL the work you’ve put in over the last 30yrs…you deserve a win this big!
Haha, Thanks Chris. Your one of the poor souls who had to listen to me learn to play when I was a lad of fourteen years old in the basement of our performing art school!
John has the technical capability of stepping in and playing live in two weeks. He can play from Neal Peart to Dream Theatre. Yep that’s a bold statement, you judge for yourself. His ability to adapt would be seamless. Yep he is my brother and I am biased., but he undeniably a bad ass, and a master of his domain.
@@officerbiss Thanks brother! I’m happy to answer your question! I used 3 foot led light strips. Instead of using the battery packs they came with I bought usb cables to power them, that I plugged into a powered USB hub. The hardest part was I had to drill holes in the side of the Roland PDX 100 since there is no opening on the bottom to run the cable for power. Hope that helps.
very impressive but I don't think Primus needs double-bass. Sounds like a heavier version of the original which to some may be good but not me. Still impressive playing.
@@jriding6161 Wynonna‘s Big Brown Beaver has double Bass in it as does Tommy the Cat, Jerry was a Race Car Driver, My Name is Mud as well as many others primus songs. Thanks though brother!
Your crazy bro, Primus has hella double bass in many of their songs. Have you actually listened to them? Any regular listener of the band would absolutely know that....just saying. John killed it, and definitely could see him playing with Primus!
Your fake electronic drum sound just ain't cuttin' it Johnny. The rubber cymbals sound like garbage..... you're not the right fit, don't quit your cover band.

I’m just a novice so I know my opinion doesn’t cary much weight, but this looks and sounds incredible! Keep it up brother!
Music is subjective! Thanks brother!
1. Solid!
2. That’s the most intense and dialed in e-kit I have ever seen/heard.
3. What do you use to light the underside of your triggers?

Niccc bro
Thanks my brother from another mother!
Ridonculous playing.
Thank you!
I find that he's behind the beat, and the extra double kicks aren't necessary
My 2 cents

Primus definitely needs acoustic drums.
