In Takarazuka Kinen (2015), many people expected Gold ship to win three consecutive victories in the same G1 race. He was blindfolded from the beginning and he entered the starting-gate first. He was quietly waiting for starting the race, but when Lovely Day came in next to him, he suddenly became violent.
He stood up on two legs inside the gate as soon as the starting-gate opened.that was the moment when a horse ticket worth about 12 billion yen turned into a scrap of paper.
After that he was totally unmotivated and just running.
Gold Ship is very entertaining unless you bet on him.
Until to this day, Gold Ship make gamblers never forget that incident because, 12 billion in bets for big race turned into scrap.
The commentator even said about how patient and calm gold ship is at the gate, talk about triggering a red flag

How the fuck are two screams supposed to be failure to show impartiality? Not to mention Gold Ship was a popular choice to bet on, and it would have been only natural when a high popularity horse is having such a big botch.
Although I think at this point Gold Ship was already well known to have very unstable performances...
And as a stablehand I suspect that whoever suspected her hasn't spent enough time handling horses. Things can get ugly in a big hurry when a horse is acting like Goldship was.

Mr Imanami did make cameo in the anime too (S2 Ep 3)
I heard it was also because the commentator was reporting near the gate and her screaming might’ve triggered Goldship to stand up as well

The conspiracy theory is horse racing, like many betting games, is 'fixed' to some degree.
One time during a gathering with wealthy people my dad received a tipping from an insider of horseracing industry (stable owner) and was told "this horse will win this time", my dad followed the tip and bet small on it because he never been a betting type person he just made exception in his life to even put that bet, in the end, that horse DID win. Coincidence? Nobody knows.

そしてメジロマックイーンも過去に140億円の馬券を紙屑に変えたことがある

Actually, from what i ear the horsegirls of this world are the horses of our world, all of them, there does not exist the animal horse in that world is replaced by those girls, they have the speed and strength of horses , cant reproduce alone need human males for it and the babies are always horsegirls , and comparing to our history think each time a horse was used instead a horsegirl its used, probably there was no slave stuff or very little ( those girl are really strong, but maybe between themselves in the past) and they worked more like workers, or even military personal in medieval times instead of the cavalry we had.
