Paper products almost never come to the USA from China. Their sheer weight and bulk (hence transport cost) helps keep the USA's paper industry from getting hammered by cheap Asian labor, as well as preventing the brutal deforestation of half of China. WIN WIN!!
I just found out the hard way that these blue rags bleed blue. Was using to try to quickly clean my white shoes…used these, a little bit of dish soap, and water.
The center of the roll I bought was packed so tight that you can't get any towels out of the center without ripping immediately. I'll just take towels from the outside.
I use these towels all the time while working on cars, but I use them in the reusable plastic tub. They seem to absorb oil better then the Scott's and the convenience of taking the tub off the wall, using them, and putting them back on the wall. Also if you use the 30% off for five items under $10.00 makes them economical. They are stronger than dollar store towels and do not turn into mush when wet.
You can also find these at The Home Depot in a single roll of 55 or 6 pack of 55 in the paint section. I pick mine up there because of military discounts.
If you get a Scott wet and let it dry, it will revert pretty much to original. If you get the HF ones wet and let dry, they turn brittle and literally fall apart. Also, the HF towels I don't recommend for cleaning spills, etc off chrome or paint; they will scratch the surface.
Not sure if anyone has said this before but your voice sounds a lot like Adam Corolla's voice, which for some weird reason is very therapeutic to me, so thanks for taking me to a spot of sanity when you do your reviews, lol!!!!
Ha a Milwaukee shout-out...my hometown! Good to know. I like the smaller form factor of the Scott shop towels though, mainly because I keep a roll on my tool cart. I'm guessing that the little starter tear off on those HF rolls is done on purpose so that your first full sheet doesn't have that little bit of adhesive on it. Brawny's are my favorite home use paper towel, and with multiple pets we go through a shit-ton of them!
The patent item you mentioned was for the plastic wall dispenser apparently you dont have , not the cardboard as you mentioned, your suppose the compliment this roll with the wall mounted professional looking dispenser can be found like 10 bucks give or take with coupon at freight harbor
Ah, so you've since moved to using just these type of towels? Also aww sad the ending music changed. It was so funky and iconic. Oh well, don't wanna get in trouble yeh?
I dig this channel so much. The breadth of content and how it impacts real users is fantastic. I encourage everybody to grab a "share" link from above. I have an off topic question for you. Harbor Freight has the chrome vanadium shallow 1/2” impact set on sale for $14.99 per set or I can get the chrome moly for $20 per set with coupon. All in all it’s a $11 difference. Any thoughts?
Rob Franklin Cr-Mo sockets are thicker and denser than Cr-V so they’re better suited for impacting. Conversely, Cr-V sockets will be thinner so they are more suited for chrome non-impact use.
"Whoah, Patent, ummm, interesting, you can patent cardboard". That was funny. I know you didn't mean to be funny but you can buy a plastic container that is made for these large rolls to dispense them from the center and stored in the container. lol
Also Went to Microfiber for Paint . But Use Scott Shop Towels for Grease or Oil . Their Red Ones let Paint Soak Right Through to your Hands ! Red are Good for Oil .
Omg something USA made in a harbor freight Lord it's a miracle
Harbor Freight has always had a few items from the US.

@@floobertuber let's hope the kung flu helps out more USA factories
The red shop rags stain everything red as well
seephor the blue ones fall apart with chemicals
Wash them a couple times when they are new and that will help. Wash with white underwear if you want pink undies!
I just found out the hard way that these blue rags bleed blue. Was using to try to quickly clean my white shoes…
You can get Scott shop towels for a lot cheaper on Amazon right now 12 rolls for $18, $1.50/roll. Thats a steal, never seen this deal b4
The label on the side says, "Pull Back Peel & Reseal Label T Dispense Towels ". That would keep the outside cleaner and the dispenser together longer.
Looks like good candidate for this weekend's 30% off any item under $10 coupon.
An even better deal at 7 bucks!

My local Blain's Farm & Fleet carries this brand.
Could you do a video on some punch and chisel sets? I'm looking for a quality set with high durability
fetusflipper , Catus did Do Punch and Chisel set Review about A Year Ago .
The old cloth red rags have their place. I like them for removing grease and oils off of my hands before washing.

I have tried these, and there is a value proposition argument to be made, but sticking with Scott.
I’ll stick with Scott’s
How much do they shred when wet or leave lint compared to the Scotts?

Tool box and Zeb brand shop towls were tested to be more effective for masks than Scotts.
Can these scratch up headlights like normal paper towels?
I would go with the Scott brand they are softer, Yes these harbor freight ones are a bit scratchy

michaspi The cr-v sockets are impact ones
I’m sorry I should have mentioned that.
Rob Franklin No worries, mate. I’ve used my Cr-V impacts from HF for years, no issues. Purchase whatever fits your budget.
michaspi so the options are cr-v impact or chrome moly impact?
Is there anything you won’t review 😂
Probably not, and that's one thing that makes this a great channel. As I said in my other comment, please share on social media!

Its a gimmick....get a roll of regular paper towels from the dollar store
I went to microfibre towels a cpl years ago.
Also Went to Microfiber for Paint . But Use Scott Shop Towels for Grease or Oil . Their Red Ones let Paint Soak Right Through to your Hands ! Red are Good for Oil .
