Unemployement is the major outcome of overpopulation . I still remember those ads in early 90s on DD channel where they used to say hum do humar do but we still didnt follow that.Citizens are equally responsible for this mess.At the end of the day government didnt ask our forfathers to have so many kids .

Unemployment is the major outcome of lack of job creation due to lack of development of labor-intensive industries due to lack of reforms in labour, land, education laws due to lack of will/ability of the government to reform these laws

@@Zak-qh5tb Over population is also one of the major reasons. At the end of the day all the resources are limited. Current birth rate of India is still more than the birth rate of China in 1991which is most industrialized nation in the world

@@maxmin1234 There are certain regions on earth which are only deserts with no water nothing and there are giant cities there with millions of people living and progressing because their governments have a will and capable people in charge. They lack food and water in a desert to support huge population so what their governments do they bring scientific innovative technologies to solve their issues and move forward. Our people are the best in the world at finding reasons to justify our current terrible condition. If you have a huge population, us this as a advantage by giving them basic manufacturing skills, bring in large scale labor intensive manufacturing industries to generate huge employment but all we want to do is just blame our people and not incompetence of government.

It's just a natural resource which is very costly

@@maxmin1234 As I said we are the best at making excuses. You are telling me our giant country which is basically a continent doesn't have one city, not even one city which is in the top 10 in the world in terms of quality of life, ease of business, corruption index performance etc. I am not asking you to show me 10 Indian cities I am asking just 1 city. For example take Varanasi with population around 3 million, which is around rank 30 in India in population and is not even in top 80 populated cities in Earth, has our full government support, financial backing due to being a sacred city, still one of the worst cities in terms of pollution terrible civic sense poor waste management noise pollution etc. If that is how badly we treat our sacred city then I can only say it is incompetence because surely our government and people have intention to make the sacred city the best in India.

I am electrical and electronics engineering student I have done my diploma also in same branch. I struggled lot to make my Career progress and today I am energy analyst. The thing I told you this because I am diploma guy with engg and very good at lab but only thing maths was not my cup of tea and 11 and 12 students also used to study with us and don't know to do labs practicalynand they were good at maths. I used to this how these people get job but when placements started these people used get the job easier even they they don't know anything in practice but me not used get it the irony was due to maths . So want to tell you that not our education system even our hiring system is not correct. Today I am energy analyst and solving problems that good in maths people can't solve and maths is not everything that companies need to understand. Some good at maths but not at work no one checks on this part.

I wanted 15 skilled graduates and was not able to shortlist even 5 for UK based company in Punjab. I interviewed so many graduates in their respective fields , but was not able to offer job. As most of the students said , we don't have any skills other than this degree. Degree I just consider as piece of paper in India from most of the colleges. Our students need to trained or at least educate in such a way in India that they think different or you can say critical thinking and analytic thinking. I can go to china and get skilled work force in 2 days and same time if I come to India , it will take 6 months to find someone and start production. Even Vietnam is able to provide the skilled labor now. If industry is moving out of China, it is opting other countries like Vietnam or south Korea. India have a opportunity right now but it's loosing on that. Why would industry come to India ?

Let me share you my story in brief-
I passed my Diploma in 2011 in Civil engineering , got a job in private sector then I went for graduation in the same stream but then I was not getting even 15000 per month then I need to "switch my stream" and went to a company which was in india but was based in London who provides not only more salary as a fresher but also provides allowance, incentives, perks, performance incentive and many more
And I was thinking of serving my country deep inside so I left it one day and now i am earning decent amount " In an Indian company" but no perks and no allowance and complicated incentive scheme which is hardly possible .....
So Yes Education system sucks - I can not use my technical skills now ........ I don't know what to do now for better performance already in my 30's

India mai sab ko bas software developer banna hai , koi core branch mai jaana hi nahi chahta , college mai bhi bas Software Developer ko hi hire karne aati hai companies toh college bhi inhi par focus karta hai
I graduated in ECE but 4 year ki btech mai bas 2 sem hi vlsi designing padhi , meri brach mai kisi ko interest hi nahi tha Chip designing mai kyuki sab ko pata tha ki college mai bas software developers ki profile ke liye companies aati hai.
India mai log engineering bas degree lene ke kiye karte hai. Baad mai sochte hai ki ab life mai kya karna hai .

That the reason i don't like to go engineering colleges for degree.......
i actually like to observe thing, and how the machine or technology work, but our teacher are themselves only doing teaching rather than intense research and teach student how should we do research..........Most of time between 9 and 12, i had asked my teacher out of box they just reply it's not in our syllabus.....so we don't need to study those things.......do what i told😢😢

A second perspective is what my teachers told me about.
Indian engineering is better in a way to make your future outside the country.
      Why ?
Because in the first year we are taught the basics of all the branches. So we know something about the branch. Whereas this is not the same thing for other countries. They study respectively about the branch they selected.
So I like this about the Indian engineering system.

on the interview - more could have been discussed about namtech instead of Education System - I watched the entire conversation and at end find that he has a solution!!!
on the Education System of India ----
    Reality:
Government related - NEP 2020 Policy is not a rule; Employability is not yet anyone's mandate (NHEQF has just released a draft)
Parents and students - see it as investment, want to maximise earning... mismatch (both horizontal and vertical) in job is allowed... so, civil, mech engineers ... are doing something else, most of the times software development
Teachers - how many have industry exposure? are they updated? are they willing to redefine their role - include employability as their objective if not mandate?
Institutions - show mismatched jobs as placements - most of the placements are different from the training they gave, - do they pay their teachers on par?
Employers - how many are willing to give internships, training to their employees (WIPRO is an exception to my knowledge)
Students - how many students are committed, discuss their score patterns, % on time course completion, how many want to work in our country? , how many are willing to work for lower salary, have our engineering students compared with the medicos, CAs or lawyers?
    So, my questions are:
    1. Aren't good students getting employed? - they are getting employed.
    2. So, whom are we expecting to anything about this? Whom are we talking to? if you say scam - can we spot the scammer?
My perspective - we (Indians) do not share the responsibility. Our attitude towards country, education and work are NOT aligned towards country's future... there is a need for discussion country wide to solve... bring in alignment...
What I agree - the moment is ripe for disruption.. , four-year rigorous experiential programme,

I can guarantee you that what he has said is accurate because I am an engineer. About 15 lac engineers are produced in India annually, but only 30-40% of them are highly skilled. Additionally, the curriculum and methodology are so antiquated that students today merely worry about passing with excellent percentages without possessing the necessary abilities. I personally dislike the idea taught in engineering colleges, and even after practicing coding and doing internship for a year, i still want to leave this field due of the curriculum and structure. There isn't any practical knowledge; instead, the entire subject is crammed just before exam day.

This is what I have pointed put to people in India..........IITs, IIMs, AIIMS and the best institutes in India are mediocre institues of rote learning that do not teach any critical thinking and problem solving. There are hardly any big thinkers or original entrepreneurs coming out of them. There is hardly any important bench or field research coming out of them. To scale up, graduates of these institutes go to the US (and to a lesser degree Europe/UK) to get MS, MBA, MD or get work experience and that is when they get to learn real work, innovation and critical thinking. Thats where they make their contributions.
