Great that you are getting back at it. Being a Berklee grad you must be a very talented musician. Given the skill level you attained, how is it you went so long without playing? I am sure it won't be long before you are fully back.
@@drsmsaracino hey thank you so much, so after I graduated, I got a gig playing for a violinist as his drummer after a year of that I worked for Apple in Boston and got promoted to a store in Manhattan, New York at that time I got another promotion and instead of moving up the ladder at Apple was able to generate an opportunity at a digital marketing, social media agency in LA for a sound design gig they had with Cristiano Ronaldo and monster headphones, and as a result of that, I got lost in the world of social media and being an influencer and working behind the scenes with other influencers also involved in functional designer Glass water pipe collector community on there , got into breeding and growing organic cannabis, then got into natural health and regeneration and that path to do everything I needed to to bring me back where I am now finally doing music again my passion back at Berklee and Focus was actually production and sound design drumming was never my main skill but you had to declare an instrument for study there, so I’m hoping to change that and develop it more than that period in my life. Thanks again for being here.
@@bg0nz_ it can be great for building muscle, but I feel when I switch to normal sticks. It’s almost like I’m holding chopsticks and I don’t have the full motion in my stroke. Everything’s a little shorter in ratio and bounce is less so i think it’s helpful to maybe use matching sticks on a pillow for muscle development and normal sticks on a pad for bounce control and feel etc. mess around and find what feels right for you to work on! cheers

Dont forget to practice reading again as well❤❤ would really help, as well as drum jobs, cruise ships, etc...
thank you! great suggestion, reading would really help get everything connected again mind + body too.
would you say pad practice is more efficient/effective with marching sticks?
