I used to catch eels when I lived in Hawaii. The small eels hang out in the coral rubble in the surf. Eel’s are not easy to catch. Common, snowflakes wet plentiful but the dragon was harder to find and worth a lot more $. We sold our catch to Pearl aquatics which was a wholesale distributor for aquarium fish.
Cheers guys looking forward to more videos 👍
love them, but mine ate my big clownfish while being in food frenzy :(
YeH I lost two clowns, I woke up one morning and I just saw one clown swimming around, I’ve also caught my eel sneaking up on the last one so I’ll just tap the glass to scare him in his cave and then feed him to leave my little clown alone.
I like snowflake eel
When you wake up at night to look at your tank and your fish is gone… eel hold my beer 🍻
Do they do well in an isolation box, or is it better to just release them straight away in the display tank?
I feed ours frozen baby mice/rats, he loves them compared to the frozen whitefish i used to feed him
Can you keep it in a vertical tank?
I just got a snowflake eel two days ago. He’s not wanting to eat. Should I be worried?
could these coexists with tomato clowns?
How is this predatory eel a good beginner livestock?
Well my guess is there easy to take care of
They’re hardy and easy to take care of as long as you’re not putting them with another fish lol
@@alvexas5510you can have them with fish as long as it’s big enough that it won’t get eaten I have mine with tangs if anything the tang is the dangerous one as he attacks my snowflake
@@user-dz3pk6pe9h not entirely true, i have mine with other fish but admittedly most of them are on the smaller side. mode little noodle went for a lot of the bigger fish. hasn’t killed anything in months thankfully but the ones he ate and didn’t don’t seem to have any rhyme or reason
Thy get out real talk
You guys don’t do a good job of talking about their heartiness - do the parameters need to be tightly controlled or is this gosh hearty like an ocellaris? Also, what about tank mates? You guys hardly ever discuss some of the most important facts.
These clown really milking this series
