For those of you attempting or researching this project, I'll help you with the accounting. Love pinksofoxy to pieces the only problem is... She doesn't necessarily answer questions. So I am in the middle of this project right now. She said after she fused together the wax paper she had 15 sheets of wax paper approximately 2 feet (24") long.... Go a tad bit over to get the entire 2 feet, because when you cut the sheets into strips you will have exactly 8 strips per sheet. 8 times 15 equals 120 strips of wax paper. These strips yield 4 circles a piece. I found if I use 4 strips of wax paper at a time that was perfect. To avoid the wax paper getting stuck, and having to cut the ends and the wax paper getting caught in the Lever Punch... I just whacked it forcefully as if I were stapling a large amount of papers. When I did that, it cut perfectly every time and I avoided ruining circles. By doing this you'll have approximately 480 circles. I'm currently sewing hem together. It is very time consuming but I'm excited for how it's turning out. I approximate I'll need to sew 95 strings of 5 circles a piece and my goal is to have it hung in 4 days for a dinner party I'm hosting. Will let you know how it turns out.

Christine you are truly an original! Your DIYs are like nothing I've ever seen before. Each one is so classic and beautiful! There is so much copying on UA-cam but not by you! You have set the bar! I don't know where you get your patience from but please keep amazing us with your talents!
I really-really surprised with this DIY. So unique, unexpected and brilliant. The chandelier look so beautiful and cozy. You have such a very classy taste, i love you. You're awesome! You deserve more recognition and million subscribers. I rarely see many UA-camrs did such truly amazing job.
Wow! Awesome!! I didn't read through all the comments, someone may have already suggested this, but you can fold a piece of foil into a couple layers and then punch it several times, it will sharpen the punch. I'm not sure if it would be sharp enough for the wax paper, by for future projects it might help. Thanks for the incredible tutorial!
Christine, I respect and admire you so much. I love how your DIYs are always very unique and original, and they are all actually high quality for a DIY. I am a strong believer in using techniques and materials that are actually worth making the DIY, so the project actually lasts and looks and functions beautifully. Such lovely craftsmanship :) - Kat

Very clever and lovely indeed. I was wondering about maximum wattage especially with wax paper. But your surgestion of an energy saver bulb sounds best for this. Thank you!
This has to be one of your BEST projects. You know I love all of your DIY's (and have done many in my own home. But this is so gorgeous and seems so easy and inexpensive. I just wish I had a light fixture to use this on! Sending big hugs and big love to you and Michael.
I totally Loooove this! I think I'm going to try this out! Now to figure out how to somewhat color tint the scales to maybe a light teal! I totally understand everyone's concerns for the heat thing. But eh, I don't keep my ceiling light on long enough for the wax paper to melt! Lol You are just oh too crafty my lady!!! Looking forward to yet another DIY vlog!!!
What a beautiful chandelier! You make it look so easy. I am still spraying twigs and covering glass containers in sequin ribbon! I wish I had your talent! Thankyou for another great video xxx …
Great project.....very time consuming indeed. I've been working on my chandelier approx 2 1/2 weeks. 56 strands of 5 make up the top tier, 32 strands of 5 make up the middle tier. Right now it's hanging. I haven't spray painted it or added the third tier yet and it looks awesome just the way it is right now. I have low ceilings so my third tier will only be 16 rows of 3 (just to make it fuller, and not to lengthen it). I bought an 8 inch Macrame ring to create the middle row. The wire wasn't working for me. I also used transparent thread to connect the circles together, but a sturdy white thread to attach the rows to the frame. I love it! What you can't see in the vid is how soft the lighting coming off the chandelier looks. It gives the whole room elegance and a Romantic glow and it has nothing to do with the bulb. I used the same bulb, Energy Saver Bulb 60 watts but throws off an actual 10 watts of heat so no concern that the wax paper will melt. Total cost about $30. Well worth the time! Thanks pinksofoxy....
Man you are so crafty I just love it!! Please keep these kind of videos coming! My daughter wants to fix up her room and this is a great project to do with her. For my sisters baby shower I did garlands with the sewing machine so this going to be easy. Thank you so much for the idea!!
