The new (comes out 9/6) Mystery Ranch District 24 Backpack is a useful and well-designed EDC backpack for urban use. Mystery Ranch gave this pack to me after our Outdoor Retailer 2022 meeting and I started using it every day since :)

Nice. This is exactly what I’m looking for. Kind of skeptical of the Velcro decision for the outside pocket.

@@thatguy6526 I have one of their sling bags that uses magnets along with a zipper and it works very well. Would have loved to see magnets in this bag too.
Surprising it has so many organizer pockets! And looks it has nice handle on top of the pack. That's good. Anyway thank you for uploading the pack review such earlier. Can't wait Fall.

Yeah that's how I felt
Out of all packs out there 90% won't stand up and none will stand up when open. Add that inner organisation that holds a bottle in place even if nothing else is in the pack and it's already a product like non other. Other features tick boxes too. After i got 2dap and blitz30 from them i feel like don't need to buy another pack ever but i want this one cause it's so clever, plus the other two are just abit beefy when you go out light.
And you man showed in 5 mins what makes this bag special. Kudos, sub from me!

it looks convenient for everyday use.
Nice bag! But I don't understand why bringing a laptop and ipad for going hiking? The whole point of hiking is to step away from the computer.
This is an EDC backpack. Not hiking backpack. Check out the 20 other Mystery Ranch hiking and backpacking videos for more info on them.
Ultimately, however you choose to use the backpack is up to you :)
For my EDC use, the backpack is about perfect :)

Hey Mike! I have not used the Gunfighter yet. So can’t say. I do love the District though. It’s my current EDC. With camera gear too.

Thanks for the vid! Does the Hummus color stay clean and stain free with daily use?
Thank you for the nice note! The pack did pick up a little dirt over the months of us using it. But nothing more than any other brand with a similar color. Just some soap and water and it was good to go.
Will the district 18 fit a 15.6in laptop with a laptop sleeve?
Are any refreshes happening for the urban assault 24?
