Nicely done. I do it almost like you do with the exception of doing a light brush off before the torch (and after as well). You have the opportunity while you have the nuts off of the muffler bolts to pull the muffler out and take a gander inside the cylinder and see how your piston looks (and some extra cleaning on the backside can be done too). I don't know why there is no "thumbs up" option for your video, but I would've clicked it if you had one. Thanks for the tutorial.
G’day Todd, I have an old MS170 the first time this particular chainsaw bogged down on me I was scratching my head wondering what was happening haha. After a quick trip down to my service centre and a quick fix with removing the buildup and reinstallation it was good to go. I always keep an eye on it now…. Thanks for a great review.

Could i fit the ms181 fuel tank and oil tank on my ms180 so i can use the quick release filler caps ?
