0:02 I fancied Imelda she was dangerous and also her miserable blonde friend and the brunette who was fiesty (RIP Joann Kenny who played her ) they were a sexy trio. Imelda reminded me of that girl in ITV show Marmalade Atkins who I fancied also (she sadly died young also). I had a strange taste in girls back then, here's a toast to lovely girls/women alive or deceased that one took note of !

This is what happens. A troublesome child gets put into another school which dosent solve the problem. It gets them out of their hair just to put it in someone elses
One in my school, male this time, who hated school so much he used the desks as a toilet. Got expelled very quickly as he'd been in trouble all the way through school.
My first secondary school I attended made people like Imelda prefects. My 2nd was much better, the 'hards' of my school kept themselves to themselves as they often undertook less than honest extra-curricular activities and did not want any 'attention' from teachers policing the space outside the building, They didnt interact with the GP. I look back and think of it 'play-Krays' taking care of the manor, keeping out the dross and letting everyone else get on. However it was a peaceful school during my time there with the only trouble being next doors school at term end.
Every school had its Imelda. There was a girl in the year below me who was constantly in trouble, was widely disliked by her classmates and was kicked out in the fifth year. She didn't reform or try to better herself, and her first stint inside was for robbing phone boxes when she 18. I gather, after years of prison sentences for theft, benefit fraud and assault, she's just been released from prson for stabbing one of her alky friends in the chest.
I have been a teacher for 40 years and even when I started in the good old days it was emphasised to me that a male teacher should never be alone in a classroom with a female student especially one that has a record of difficult behaviour. He should at least have had the door open. He may be totally innocent but without witnesses any allegations by the student would mean a lot of trouble.
Bloody Hell that's it: You're out of school! What the hell did she do wrong? I was 16 at the time and I know she done wrong but I can't quite remember what it was. I remember i didnt like her!
The worst thing I remember her doing was stuffing fiberglass down other students' shirts, which is pretty bad! I think Imelda was a success as a character, as she's one of the few I can remember.
I think she stole the charity money for Danny Kendal's recovery in hospital that Ziggy had organized. There was a confrontation with Ziggy and she just sat down in class and refused to move and several teachers had to sit in and watch over her as she did so. I don't quite know 'why she say down like that' or if the argument with Ziggy was even in the same class she sat down in.
Loved grange hill best days
I used to watch this show and shake hot white coconuts from the veiny love tree
I remember being frightened of her.
This was the highlight of after school tv .. was on twice a week as I remember..
All day at school, then home to watch...school 🤣🤣
I remember Fleur Taylor was also in 'Alfonso Bonzo' not long after this, she played Billy Webbs sister.
Late 70's, early 80's, we were crazy for GH!
And slightly aroused
When I was a kid Imelda taught me that I like 'bad girls' !
I still can't watch Terrahawks without getting an erection.
Now you know why saying "she's nasty" is a compliment.
@@rob16248 I fingered her bottom

@@BoilingfroggCatherine as the drunken agent. 🤣
she does a local radio show
To a hormone ridden 12yo boy in 1987, Imelda was a terrifying goddess and that mullet....❤❤❤❤
I would class Imelda as being the "Girl" Gripper.
1:25 this is soooo 1980s it’s unbelievable
1982 and 87 the most iconic 80s years of the 80s ... 🤣
That grass is completely waterlogged

You weren't the only one.
I had a crush on Imelda Davis too. And there was something kind of sexy a bout Marmalade Atkins-RIP Charlotte Coleman, taken from us far too soon
I thought marmalade was the same actress. Who wrong I was and sad now

Imelda changed her name and became a Tory PM for less than a month.
Then she realised she was more akin to Labour and all the other weirdos!
Dear lord I had had like Imelda back then. I had to get up at six to manage it before school.😂

Super!
Durung my school days, we had encountered troublemakers like Imelda Davis.
One in my school, male this time, who hated school so much he used the desks as a toilet. Got expelled very quickly as he'd been in trouble all the way through school.
A young Limahl there, in an early role....
Geoffrey Kissoon - Trinidadian actor.
Nick Kershaw had the same hair cut too. 😉
Limahl/Kajagoogoo was 1983, Nik Kershaw 1984, this was 1987. Thank you pop pickers!'

Still in the classic era here, it jumped the shark and was not so good eventually
Not much of a send off for the spikey haired trouble maker. Perhaps she lived happily ever after with Gripper Stebson!
I remember thinking what a horrible old cow. I will always remember her for getting fibre glass and putting it down someones back.

Classic mullet.
Grange Hill looked more like a victorian prison than a high school.
all of England looks like a prison
Same wig as Pat Sharpe
What were the root causes of her behaviour? Was she ill-treated as a toddler? Where was her father?
In her room mostly
She’s not aged well herd she moved on to Terrorhawks
I fancied Zelda from Terrahawks too !

Just as well there was a TV camera and microphones in there.... 😁
Imelda Davis was horrible. Just didn’t like her
not being liked was her schtick , testament to her acting skills therefore .
a male teacher alone in a class with a female student and the door shut. Not sure it could happen today.
Yeah, today, the kid would bum the male teacher with a strap-on and put it on TikTok.
Yes, because nothing ever happens the other way round

in real life she would get the choice of getting expelled or 12 strokes of the cane

There were a lot of great girls in GH but the best by far was Georgina Hayes. I fancied her so much during my school days. And Jackie Wright!!
