    Hello sir, Thanks for the detailed explanation, Request you to answer one quest: I am completimg 10 years of NPS investment in private sector, and planning to prematurely Exit at age of 45. I understand 80% of my corpus will go to annuity purchase, so will i get annuity pension pay back every month immediately from the age 45 itself or only at age 60 it starts. Kindly clarify. Thanks in advance!

    Pls add an explanatory video regarding the post retirement pension amount calculation. Also, what happens to the 40% amount kept with fund houses after retirement?

    Can I ask my private employer to contribute to NPS instead of EPF? As I have a salary of more than 15k. And I don't have an EPF account.

      Sure, if your employer offers corporate NPS, you can opt for it. The employer's contribution to the NPS also gets tax benefits under Section 80CCD(2).

    At 9:10, host tells only one fund manager allowed for all the schemes, which is outdated info. NPS now allows upto 3 fund managers, one each for each category, except AIS

      As per the information available with us, this option is available only for the all citizen model (Tier I), the corporate model (Tier I) and Tier II (all subscribers). It's not available for the government model (Tier I).

      @@ETMONEY I tried to change but no buddy don't know the procedure. When i contacted to the customer care of NPS they said there is no restriction but you can change only through your DDO but when i raised RTS in NPS A/C and got the answer is it cannot be changed. I ask for reference they cannot provide any reference regarding this. So, I request the ET money you have doing a great for like this video's but plz try to provide clarity to change PFM is it possible for State govt. Employees are not from your side bcz no buddy is not sure about this even NPS side. Their customer care says yes there but their RTS said no. Plz do clarity about this from your side.....

    Why Bank employees under corporate sector are not allowed to change scheme preference under NPS

  • @harshdeora5601
    @harshdeora5601 4 місяці тому

    Can you change the option once taken?

    • @ETMONEY
      @ETMONEY  4 місяці тому

      Yes, one can change the scheme in the central government NPS up to two times a financial year. For the state government NPS, it would depend on whether the state government has allowed choice of schemes in the NPS.

    NPS for Govt subscribers is like EPF. Even LC 50 option is not that attractive as compared to that of All India NPS programme where equity holding ranges from 75 to 100%.
    Only advantage being the govt being custodian of accounts, so expense ratio and AMC charges r exempt as they grant projects to protean tech being their primary CRA and carved out from the govt.
    Overall NPS is deliberating on 40% withdrawl, which is irritating me. Its not allowing me how much should i allot for my annuity.
    Its like govt ka paisa govt ke paas hi rahega. If given that money to RBI, it will clear our both internal & external debt and govt's fiscal needs. No need to actually pay taxes for such gains to the govt.
    Better to shut down EPFO and bring out single PFRDA as sole pension bearing institution for the whole country.
